He still had a bad game.. Did love seeing that hit. It's been a few decades since seeing Banks do that every other play..

I thought it was the two terrible 3rd down play calls in the 2nd half by the Titans. Wild cat where Henry dropped snap and the TE sweep later.. Just give the ball straight up to Henry and let him gain 2 yards..

The Titans offensive coordinator took some plays out of the Jason Garrett playbook. The Titans had chances to put the death blow, and squandered it away with bad penalties and key drops. As for that knockout hit, this is why they teach you in pop warner to run with your shoulder pads low. You’re giving defenses a free shot to take your head off. Brandon Jacobs had to learn this the hard way during his early years.

It's so refreshing to be rooting for the team that had the better coaching for a game!!

He did blow up Henry with a good hard hit.
Plays like that do set the tone for the game.
Seeing it again makes me appreciate it more!

To be fair, we stuffed them pretty good all day...had they gotten to the outside there knowing we were coming in hard, that could've been the dagger. I will say the play call was dumb high risk/reward but it was a pivotal moment. I just remember seeing Crowder blow Henry up and it gave me a sense of relief that this team will not lay down like teams of the past

That was like the Seahawks not handing the ball to Lynch in that Super Bowl in terms of a head scratcher

loved the hit and I really like Tae and want him to keep getting better, and he's going to need to do that in the pass game. He as well as the rest of the LBers were actually atrocious in that dept this past sunday. They gotta get better

That was like the Seahawks not handing the ball to Lynch in that Super Bowl in terms of a head scratcher eh…situations are completely different…one was 1yard to win the SB, the other was 1 (long) yard to keep moving the chains and chew the clock in a game they were already winning against a weaker opponent…in week 1 nonetheless. From the penetration, it wouldn’t have worked either way and this notion that Derrick Henry is this amazing power back has to end…his size only really translates in his arm power and he’s more elusive than powerful

Tae Crowder has limitations but dammit its guys like him that can fill out a winning roster and are easy to pull for.

They gotta get better he has to get better at coverage but then again so many "really good" NFL LBers cant cover all that well. We just let one go in Martinez.

I thought the Titans acted like they were a home team up 13-0 at halftime playing a 4-13 team and had one eye on their next weeks game vs the Bills. They didn't show up in the second half. Full credit to the Giants for never giving up but the Titans looked bad in the second half. It's hard to call opening day a trap game but this was as close as it gets.

I gave up on that site and those grades a few years ago when Solder gave up two sacks and many pressures but graded out in the 70s..
