Please hear me out. I know this might seem like a joke. For the most part, most pundits out there have us ruled out as a laughingstock. We are the bottom feeders of the NFC least. No mention of what this team can do. The NYG have earned every bit of disrespect from multiple seasons past. I get it. What I saw on Sunday was a team that played like a team. Sure there are going to be growing pains this year with a new staff and systems. What I saw was a team that believed in their path, believed in their coaches and most notably believed in themselves. S.B. played out of his mind on Sunday. He played like he was the best RB in football last weekend. It was a thing of beauty. The Oline played good enough along with DJ. The defense held that RB monster to under 100 yds rushing. The young defense played good enough without 2 pass rushers. I think we have something brewing. The Panthers are coming up. Cleveland held Christian to 33 yds rushing and put the onus on Baker. That Tennessee team was 7-2 at home last year. Tennessee is better than Carolina. I think we have a real shot at beating the Panthers this weekend. Then after that the reeling Cowboys are coming. Bottom feeders don't go into Tennessee and put themselves in a position to win that game. The NYG might be better than most people think. people will keep saying we suck until we don't.... We beat a good team in their house and it feels good and I don’t want to put a damper on anyone but it was just one game. The giants will have put to a solid string of these together before I think they can really say the giants are underrated. Prove this wasn’t a fluke

They need to start scoring well north of 21 if they want to have progress. I loved the fight and the heart they showed

I loved the fight and the heart they showed I loved the fight they showed and to me that was the first really fun giants game I’ve watched in a while. Might be one or two that I’m missing the last one that comes to mind was the nfc championship against the 9ers in the last SB run. The thing is I do remember the last time I got excited for this team. I forget the year (wasn’t that long ago) they went on a couple of game winning streak and we’re back in the playoff picture and then they beat a really good Seahawks team and I thought wow. They might actually make the playoffs. Then the other shoe dropped…. Just the once bitten twice shy thing you know?

people will keep saying we suck until we don't.... Ten years of utter shit can’t be erased in one week. This is the opposite side of the coin known as fanhood. When we lose, everyone should be fired. When we win, we’re a juggernaut. That’s why fan is short for fanatic. well said...

If your smart, you'd erase the past 10 year, and stop being fixated on DG.
The Giants would have scored more playing the Titans If Daboll had put a pass-blocking LG on the field in the first half.
We'll see what he does this week. His sticking with Bredeson at LG as I guess Daboll want to run more in the first half playing Carolina.
Carolina is similar to the Titans.
The Giants should go 4-0 if good plays are called and Daboll plays the right players. If the Giants are 2-2, we'll have to examine each loss. Although some here doubt it, the Giants are a good team.

Limited Henry, even with some key players out on D. Barkley ran wild. Solid D and a strong run game are a pretty decent place to start. Long season ahead, but I'll take that start.

So you know more than Daboll on how to get the offense to score more TDs? You should get a hold of him and have a meeting. Bredesen had 30 snaps and Ezeudu had 28. Almost split in half. Total offensive snaps was 60. I try erasing the bad years first with Shurmur, then with Mac, then with Judge. This team has just kept on sucking. I like JS and Daboll for sure. I dig the first game win big time. Was hard fought win. However its one game and I will treat it as such.

Joe Judge won 4 games last year with some of the worst coaching and one of the worst built rosters I have ever seen. Teams can pull out wins here and there.
This year is about seeing what has happened over a full season of games. You look for the positives along the way.
But it’s a rebuilding team. A rebuilding organization actually.

I think he is realistic about it too. I hope he is the man to get it done.

The Giants scored "0" points in the first half. The mistakes the Giants made and didn't correct in the first half were obvious. Has nothing to do with knowing more than Daboll, it has to do with getting a left guard onto the field you can pass block. That didn't happen. Let's see what happens in the Carolina game.

We won our first game. A nice win Yes. To say we are underrated. I am not on that bandwagon yet. I need to see where we stand at the end of week 4.

All those great years during the Eli tenure they thrived off of flying under the radar sometime and seemed to excel best when so. I love it.....

Too early to say the Giants are underrated. But a lot more pieces are in place this year that weren’t in place last year, starting with a HC that plays to win instead of playing “not to lose.”
So it’s not too early to say that the players believe in the coaching staff and each other. They didn’t fold like in years past after a horrendous first half.
It’s hard to know whether they are the team that showed up in the first or second half. I’m guessing it’s somewhere in the middle.
The optimist in me says they have a legitimate chance to get off to a great start and with the extra playoff spot, might even be in the conversation in December.
