I just read on Walterfootball, that Tre Adams had back surgery. He missed all last season with a torn ACL and now this. He may stay in school one more year but his durability makes him a 3rd rounder IMO.
The 2019 class is looking very Slim. We will not find a first round talent for the OL. That is a major concern, unless Gettleman finds a diamond in the ruff. There are no star OL to watch. The best guys aren't coming out, and they aren't that great, like Greg Little from Ole Miss who wwears #74 and looks like a Flowers clone.
smh

Solder will be here next season 100% guaranteed so will Patrick Omameh with an emphasis on the last 3 letters of his name describing his play meh. They have guaranteed money so they won’t go anywhere until after the 2019 season. I believe we really need an anchor type center to help stabilize this OL. We also need a RT in the worst way.

You can still grab Jonah Williams from Bama if OT is the route - and it very well may be

^^^ I don't like Jonah as a tackle. He's just a big body and does not move like an NFL tackle from what i've seen. I also believe he is just a sophomore and not likely to come out. The top Tackles are mostly sophomores. I prefer Seniors that have 4 years of weight training under their belts that have faced good pass rushers.
SEC and Big 10 guys with lots of reps....No quick fix this year I'm afraid.

Jonah Williams from Bama sounds good, along with Andre Dillard from Wash St, Bobby Evans from Oklahoma, Kaleb McGary from Wash, Dalton Risner from Kansas St, and Uli Lapuaho from BYU.
Mostly RT prospects, but hey we got Solder for 5 more yrs so might as well address RT
.....There are a few interesting prospects at OG and C tho

He was described as Laremy Tunsil without any tenacity. If an OL has "no tenacity" hes not for me Sucks about Adams, he was a NASTY prospect aside from the injury stuff

Depth on the 2019 draft is weak, compare to last year. Jon Runyan a senior, playing OT for Michigan . I see him more of an RT , like his father. He msy not be a NO 1 pick , but definitely a round 2 pick.
