So im torn with our 1st round pick. I WANT to draft a QB but i dont love Lock or Herbert. We need a CB, so id be cool with Greedy Williams from LSU. We need an OT, so id be cool with Jonah Williams from Bama. We need a C, but i dont know if id draft OSU Michael Jordan top 10. We need LBs for the middle of the field, enter LSU's Devin White Here is how one of the National scouts summarized White. "This kid could end up being similar to Ray Lewis. I'd take White over any of the linebackers this year. He's unbelievable. Unless he gets hurt or completely shuts it down to protect himself, he'll be the first linebacker drafted next year. He's the complete package. Great character. He's the signal-caller of the defense with a super football IQ. He's big, study, and stout enough for Mike - middle linebacker; swift enough for Will - weakside linebacker -, great athlete and coverage instincts. Stacks up the stat boxes, all of them. He's fast, an explosive tackler, and [has] elite reactionary quickness. "Right now, he's among the best, and maybe the best, I've scouted. Better athlete and versatility than [Dont'a] Hightower. More explosive, violent, and bigger than C.J. Mosley; same level of instincts. Better than Jerod Mayo at Tennessee. Bigger than Jonathan Vilma while being more violent and instinctive than D.J. Williams, same kind of freak athlete explosiveness-wise. thumper like Sean Weatherspoon. Basically, he's a bigger version of Roquan Smith in the 240-250-pound range. He's FUN to watch. Unbelievable stamina and motor. He could be the best linebacker ever to come out of LSU."

Devin White is this years Roquan Smith. It's not a sexy pick but our defense would be better with Ogletree and White.
I love Greedy Williams. I love the way he plays and attacks the ball. Every play is a competition for him. Maybe I'm biased because I'm an LSU fan but I rate him as top 5 talent in this draft.
Dalton Risner/Michael Jordan is probably the best center but taking a center in the first is a waste.
The quarterbacks aren't impressive. Lock sucked today by the reports but I'm still a fan. He has the tools to be good. Herbert is good though but I don't feel the IT factor. Just seems solid. Good not great at everything. Lock can rifle it, touch and power. Decision making just lapses but his receivers do not help him at all.
Best 2 players are probably Ed Oliver and Bosa who are just freaks.

Greedy was giving yesterday VS Florida. You right about Herbert. Lock is very similar. There is NO QB that is worth a top 15 pick in 2019.

White def is this years Roquan, total package LB type of player. Im also a big Josh Allen fan as well, White and Allen as our 1st 2 picks would be insane and totally revamp this defense Greedy is an awesome corner, could def add a few lbs but other than that he is a sick player. I agree about Risner and Jordan, they are the best centers but i wouldnt want to drop a top 10 pick on either. I WANT to like these QBs but Lock is inconsistent and Herbert has untested field vision I agree Oliver and Bosa are def the most talented players this year, id take Bosa in a heartbeat but i dont know where Oliver would fit

While I'd love Oliver or Bosa, hopefully we're picking a bit higher than top 5. And yeah man Josh Allen is an absolute freak. Pierschbacher from Bama as a round 2-3 o-line pick. Quality C/G and a good run blocker. But man still hopeful we can be picking at #20 atleast.

Excellent points. the 2020 draft for QB's will be much better so I would wait. Draft a stud in the first round whether it is OL or Pass rush.

Yes of course, but at what cost?

You do not take an inside LB where we will be selecting. Need to see what happens with Eli down the stretch. I could see them looking to address QB with a reject with experience and hope Shurmur and our weapons can get him over the hump. A guy like Mariota or Tannehill. I’d they wanted to build around a kid QB I think they’d have done it last year. I think they go edge rusher or OT in Round 1 next year.
