Does anyone know how many injuries we have so far? Who cares.. Detroit lost both their starting corners and guard this game. We got punked by a team that can’t stop a nose bleed. Yeah, I'm not listening to the injury excuse either. We lost this game on every single level

So you're OK moving forward with the set of WRs we currently have? im being factitious, but saying we dont have 'real' WR's to me is so comical. Slaytons outplaying plenty of "real" #1's around the NFL. That, with a bottom 3 passing OFF. He's separating like 2-3 yards with ease the past 4-5 games DJ is placed it in Cager’s hands though, overall DJ not his strongest day but neither was the rest of the team for that matter

Mark my words, in typical Giants fashion, they will lose to the lowly Lions today, but beat the Eagles or Vikings. But man we need inside linebackers bad. Don’t bet the Farm on it I think they will miss the playoffs to be honest with you.

I would let DJ walk unless he is going to play for 15 million next year. Franchise Barkley. I think the team will be fine with a rookie or another QB next year. Might take a step back but resetting the QB clock is a good idea. I'm not paying DJ a lot of money. cannot agree more. dont overpay for mediocracy So what I’m getting is you won’t be signing this anytime soon?

team played like poop today. couldn't get it together at all, but at least it was against the might Lions, so we can take solace. We just made up for no injuries last week as well. That is the truly devastating effect from today.

He's separating like 2-3 yards with ease the past 4-5 games slaytons our only option, he's not playing great football. it's RARE to see him catch a pass without bobbling it. He's riding a wave where he's the only real viable option. I don't think we realize how badly our WR lineup is hurting us I think Slayton(Y)/Wan Dale (Z) is a great start. your #2, #3. We do need an X. However, having a X will improve our pass game but I suspect it wont move materially from the bottom 4-5 unit they are now. A legit X may make this offence average. However, we will have to pay for talent eventually and you have to ask yourself what you're buying. Particularly, at the positions most impacting wins.

The Lions deserve the win. No problem giving them the credit. Were we looking at Thanksgiving? Were we sick? Did the injuries just catch up? Or is this the NFL where other teams are being paid to win as well?

We need weapons, anyone who argues that point is an idiot at this point. I think you’re right. I don’t care what others think. The closest thing we have is Slayton. And I think they aren’t using him to his full potential. I would be forcing it to him long. This team is extremely stubborn with the offensive gameplan and dangerously close to becoming non creative. I’m seeing a lot of stupid “Gilbride” runs into the line for no gain or loss.

Detroit played our game against us. Their oline dominated. They ran the ball. They made 3rd down passes. Their dline dominated as well. Yep...LOS was dominated all day. A few series LW and Lawrence played well...but the offense seemed FAR too conservative this game. If our OL was not able to run block...and it wasn't, Barkley is stopped. Football 101....it was then we should have seen far more play action vs that ridiculous 3rd and Barkley into a wall call.

At least we didn't lose like the Jets just did. Wow Jets defense is incredible. I'd take that over getting smashed by the lions.

Welp, they just cut out footage in DFW because they think it’s a blow out. I’m sorry I won’t be able to see one of the greatest comebacks in Giants history. Well Detroit is making point today I saw on the ticket they are heading down again to score just did a reverse that fooled the whole D. when you read the box score it might 38 if they get the ball again it might in the 40s poor performance all 3 phases Offense -3 TO differential, special teams giving up returns and the D even tho they had a lot of injuries have been leaking yards for weeks now good offenses make them TD s not 3s.

simply awful day. I won't watch the Cowboys game. Can't believe they are the national afternoon game yet again. They have been so pretty much every week, it sucks royally. I would like to watch some other teams, we already are forced to watch the Jets, some variation would be nice, but Jerry owns the ****ing league these days.

Im not sure how well Giants fans know what is occurring around the league Slayton doesn't have great hands but he makes up for it in his ability to separate. Not to mention, his hands are improving. DJ is a "see-it-throw-it" type QB, meaning, he needs guys who can really separate to help him with his reads, he's not an anticipatory thrower. WanDale (Horizontally) and Slayton (Vertically) create ample separation. Now you need a legit X who can beat press coverage, but we have two out of three pieces, we shouldn't be this pathetic in the downfield pass game. We should ask Jones to maximize what he has to work with now before we go to the shop for replacements.

Today we choked.
The refs were 90-10 in Detroit's favor Jones looked like shit most the game Barkley looked slow as molasses WR is no doubt a huge issue Interior OL is awful. We have one NFL caliber DB left in Love. We have ZERO pass rush Our LBs are not really that good Poor game plan from the coaching staff 3-4-5 more injuries to starters
Other than that, we will be rocking for Dallas on Thanksgiving...

We let up 160 yards on the ground today. Hard to overcome that.
