Man, Parsons is nasty and he is going to be a pain in our asses for the next 10 years at a minimum. I'm tapping out. DPOY and it's not even close. Funny how many people are praising Parsons now (not you), I was accused of being a troll and cowboys fans for saying how good he was the week before we played the cowboys earlier this year. Maybe a lot of Giants fans don’t get the cowboys games but since I live in the market and hate them, I watch them to lose and unfortunately I’ve been watching Parsons single handily wreck games since they drafted him. I wanted Parsons at last year's draft and a few fans on here were complaining about his character and "lack of a motor". I disagreed and just hoped that we got him anyways. We missed the boat IMO.

OK, trade Barkley and let Jones walk! The trade deadline has passed and Saquon is in the last year of his deal

I’m sorry I called you a troll, but that that illegal man downfield was a BS call, I don’t care what you say. it doesn't matter what you say, in reality. It’s against the rules. Literally, not debatable. Just saw a graphic on Twitter #79 Philips was three yards downfield. The penalty in both NFL and college is five yards downfield. .

Just got home. From what I DID manage to see, still not enough shots downfield. Disappointed. Use Slayton till his name wears off his jersey. Tough break. Happy Thanksgiving guys.

I'm amazed it was that close.
A surging healthy team against a decimated reeling team. A bunch of practice squad players played tough. Just MO.

Heres the deal;
We are not a bad team
We are not a good team either
We are somewhere in between. Which is a massive improvement over last year...Now the question is: Does Schoen has the balls to do what he feels is best for the team or will he crater under fan (boy) pressure and gentle 'suggestions' from Mara? If he does then he will be able to turn the franchise around. If not get use to loosing

I get the frustration but who’s the guy playing with right now? Why is it so easily assumed that Daniels playing with no one. Is it possible that perhaps our LT, WR's/coaching aren't playing with the most optimal QB? this is looking more and more the case every day No assumptions needed. Just look at the roster.

I get the frustration but I have to see the film to know exactly what's on who.

Why wasn't offense in hurry up no huddle mode when down by 2 scores with about 6 minutes left? The way they were moping around, huddling and then running up the middle you'd think they were in the lead and trying to grind the clock down. And they also needed some gadget plays to mix things up....direct snap to Barkley who tosses to jones in the flat? Idk something to mix things up with gadgets since they dont have the personel to keep the defense guessing otherwise. Look i respect Dabes intensity both during and after the game, but today they clearly got both outplayed and out coached. First time both were clear this season imo.

I’m sorry I called you a troll, but that that illegal man downfield was a BS call, I don’t care what you say. Apology accepted and thank you. I honestly don’t even remember you saying that, there’s only one other person here that I do and I try not to interact with him. All I’m saying is there are tons of bullshit calls every game. The NFL referees are horrendous, they’re a bunch of geriatrics who can’t see 10 feet in front of them trying to keep up with NFL players and making calls in real speed time. On top of that, the rules suck. I actually prefer college football much more. My point was, is that every team every week has legitimate complaints about the officiating. Every team blames Goodell for being against them personally and thinks they’re team is part of some conspiracy for whatever reason. Every team has a legitimate complaint, it goes both ways. Fans will argue about the timing, down, whatever…of when the penalty was called but for the most part it all evens out. I promise you I hate the f’in cowboys and their fans more than anyone else here. I can’t even post what I really want to do without being on the FBI’s 10 most wanted list but they had complaints against the officiating tonight that were legit, so did we. We got our asses kicked in the 2nd half, we can point to certain calls all we want but we lost the game ourselves, not the officials (as much as they suck). Unless you’re a Saints fan from a few years ago where there was the clear PI that wasn’t called that cost them a SB appearance then I don’t believe in blaming the officiating. We had our chances and didn’t capitalize. They were and are the better team like most of us already knew. Proud of the Giants for hanging in there as long as they did, I would be po’d if I was a cowboys fan.

I love Bellinger but I’d rather have Parsons and Neal or Parsons or Thibs over Thibs, Neal and Bellinger. there goes your $300 had you rooting against the Giants scoring that TD oops Yup, you fi’n dbag, pretty happy about those garbage time points, aren’t you? I like how you only show up for a few life game threads to talk shit to anyone who doesn’t agree with you. I really hope something bad happens to you an your family. Oops, did I just say that? I hope you choke to death on a cowboys fans shit you ****ing internet warrior.

IIRC, it was the other guy who liked your post that was supporting him and TBH I didn’t think he would be this good and was a little questionable about his “character” as well but PennState (who knew a lot more about him than I do) was strongly defending him and he was right, unfortunately.

Schoen will evaluate this QB class with Daboll, if they think there is a better option in the draft in free agency or trade they will take the shot if they don't and like 2023 class better they might give Jones a 1 year extension or 2 with a mid level contract or let him walk and play Taylor. A lot up in the air with this roster and QB I wish for the Giants sake that DJ could be the guy but he isn't pushing the ball down field don't risk no biscuit QB is most important spot on the field he needs to be better or he will be the old Giants QB.

If we would be honest as fans(regardless of whether pro/con DJ) the absolute best scenario is to get him extended to a team friendly lower cost contract while looking for a diamond in the rough in the draft. Sorry, the highly touted sure thing guys who play on stacked teams in college are a crapshoot. Its ridiculous to scrap DJ due to his play on a very injured, limited roster. The parts of the game some guys want to see aren't even possible with 3rd stringers/practice squad guys playing on the O line and the TE and WR core. Daks play early in the game when he was anxious about the pressure was sub par. This with studs like Cee Dee Lamb, Michael Gallup, Shultz, and ferguson as pass catchers and the two headed RB monster of Zeke and Pollard. Apples and Oranges. The QBs that can move the ball late in games when trailing by more than one score all have alpha dog WRs or stud TEs. Its not even the same sport when you have a Jefferson, Diggs, Lamb, Chase, catching footballs. When the ball is in the air, its theirs--period.

I thought that play was pivotal as well, but in his post game presser Daboll explained his logic. I understand why he made that choice. We don’t have to agree with him but he’s the HC and it’s his choice to make. If the pass is better, there’s probably no discussion of it

Posters shouldn't be complaining about a 4th down play in which Barkley should have caught the ball.
Wish the Giants had a healthy Toney on the field the last two games. Too bad most posters here don't appreciate an impact receiver and side with the Giants HC for getting rid of a player that the KC coaching staff is having no problems with. Just hope that move doesn't keep the Giants out of the play-offs.
For Schoen to trade Toney for basically a 4th and 6th round draft pick was just dumb. Compounded even more with Barkley, also an impact player, not performing well and Robinson out with an injury. Posters are left with saying can't wait till so and so returns. .
Do hope the Giants can bounce back the remainder of the season.

In related news, the Bills message board is blowing up over their recent under performance which they are obviously attributing to the loss of Isaiah Hodgins to the Giants.

Everyone here here seems to be fine with the Toney trade. Is anyone besides myself against it? I didn't like giving up on an early draft pick that soon but at some point, it's on the player. We aren't in the building, we have no idea what is actually going on with him.

I believe your right truth, When Jones threw low and behind Saquon on that 4th and 1 it not only would have been a 1st down but he had room to run possibly all the way if he turns that corner. We needed a score that series badly. These type misses are happening to often every game. Our offense is just non existent for the middle of football games. 3 and outs 2-3 times in a row. The defense who is playing hard gets worn down. Plus they can't get off the field on 3rd down plays. The penalties are unbelievable. Gano is money. Saquon can't do squat the last 2 games. I know teams key on him to stop the offense. In order to keep throwing deep or even chunk yardage plays the pass protection must improve. We just don't have the horses. This losing streak could go the rest of the season.
