More fussy people here than I expected for a team in the first year of a 3 year rebuild. We all fuss about the salary cap impact of players against the entire roster (starting with me) But here we are wasting oodles of money on Golladay while moving ourselves into the playoffs. Not saying it is unimportant, just saying there is more to it than what we pay our QB. I think the real key is drafting well through the middle rounds to find cheap starters, something we didn't do for a decade before Schoen. Let's hope his year 1 is not an outlier like 1987. 2023 Opponents If season ended today Opp W L T W-L% SRS Dallas Cowboys 12 4 0 0.750 Dallas Cowboys 12 4 0 0.750 Philadelphia Eagles 13 2 0 0.867 Philadelphia Eagles 13 2 0 0.867 Washington Commanders 7 7 1 0.500 Washington Commanders 7 7 1 0.500 Arizona Cardinals 4 11 0 0.267 - Los Angeles Rams 5 10 0 0.3 Seattle Seahawks 7 8 0 0.467 San Francisco 49ers 11 4 0 0. We can kinda figure out who the last three opponents will be

how many QBs on rookie contracts won SBs? The last thing any GM wants to do is have to start over How many QBs win sbs on second contracts that aren't the Manning's or Brady? the best QB you can have is the one that is key to the team. At this point in time that seems to be Jones.

Schoen would be smart to offer Jones at least a 4-year plus contract.

You've said that at least 10 times in the past. All in response to being called out. Do you think your, or anyone's, opinion on anything to do with the Giants means anything? Of course not. It literally has no influence on what Schoen et al do. So I ask you again... if you think a poster's opinion is meaningless, why do you log on daily and offer yours? (that's a rhetorical question). The answer is obviously: To offer up fodder for discourse. Why are you so concerned with why I log on? I told you in the past that I think you are an asshole. Why would you weasel your way into my conversation with someone else? Damn fellas….we’re beating ass and you guys are still finding shit to fight about. **** it all.

The Giants making the play-offs will generate revenue that ownership probably never expected. Suspect that will more than off-set the money Giants had to eat this season, and also cover all of Golladay's dead money if he's released this summer.Wouldn't be surprised if there's a good amount left over as well.

Can't get over J.Smith's hilarious non-tackle. I guess he thought that his standing straight-up and tackling a QB is an infraction. So he released him. One of funniest things I've seen a football player do.

One of funniest things I've seen a football player do. It's the stupid roughing the passer rules they are implementing. Reminded me of Kiwis vs Vince Young. You see more and more of this.

Great movie. What a classic. It is quite a bit dated now, but still damn funny.

The Giants beat the Colts yesterday handily for the second game in a row by letting Jones throw more mid-range passes. It was good seeing the Giants score more than 30-points, and playing well on defense. If Giants had done that earlier in the season, the Giants likely would have likely won more games. Good to see the Giants OL providing excellent protection for Jones. They've come a long way.

As a proxy war is taking place in Ukraine. with the US and Russia not engaged in diplomacy. Such failure is resulting in the super powers edging closer and closer to nuclear war each passing day.

The rest falls under revenue sharing divided equally.
