I heard the offer was made to throw out the first pitch at Citi, but they were afraid that any person who threw a pitch off that mound would end up on the IR.  |

It's kinda funny having a young specimen like Barkley going out to the mound to just throw one ceremonial pitch, and then replace him with a fat old man to possibly pitch the complete game to actual athletes. |
