That was a massacre.. Taylor was his usual dominant self, sacking Jaworski 4x on the day. This was the game where Ron Jaworski famously called a timeout when he could not find #56. He’s looking left, he’s looking right, no Taylor in sight. Like walking across a busy road, you want to see where the cars are coming. Little did he know, Lawrence was on the sidelines. The only time Ron felt a sigh of relief.
This was also when players took pride in keeping an opponent out of the end zone. The game is out of hand, and the fat lady has sung her last chord. Instead of taking the gear off, and laughing it up on the sidelines. The starters stayed in, and put the final death blow on the Eagles.

OJ Anderson’s first game as a Giant. LT destroying Jaws Harry Carson catches a pass Hostetler as a WR The Giant D as dominant as I’ve ever seen them The Philadelphia Buddy Ryans completely overmatched
Worth watching and definitely exhibit A for why the ‘86 Giants were one of the best defenses ever.
