Pretty cool behind the scenes.
Jaguars trading back with the Giants, and then with the Bills.
If the NFL wants more excitment and drama in the draft, they should have teams have to make videos like this for all trades and draft picks. And later releases it post draft.

These kind of representations happen all of the time in these draft day trade scenarios. Cool to see it happen real-time

These kind of representations happen all of the time in these draft day trade scenarios. Cool to see it happen real-time That's what I mean. The NFL should record all of these interactions and be able to release them post draft. It would solve many fans wondering minds on how these trades come about, who negotiated what, and even trades that never happened (2018 trade with Denver for the #2 pick). I mean, that would be better than the draft IMO. A show built for primetime. I think the ratings would be huge. Or at least top Hardknocks or the draft itself.

If only the NFL could insert more gambling during the draft lol

I'd be surprised if teams' FO's would really be willing to give that kind of window into their backend operations and thought processes.
Also, there's a fair amount of gamesmanship that occurs with these negotiations. If it's broadcasted publicly that one team knew it was fleecing the other, teams would not stand for that kind of embarrassment.
I think these kinds of insights really work best when they come out years later. Most of the GMs/coaches involved are likely moved on by then, teams have been though other big events that obscure a direct link to their standing today. No one's job is currently on the line from the trade.

If only the NFL could insert more gambling during the draft lol You would see a lot of suspended rookies betting on themselves being drafted. Then again, they actually placed the bet PRIOR to being an NFL employee, so, I guess they could technically bet on where they think they or others will get drafted.
