Man I remember how really good this guy was and about to check out his highlights. I liked how smooth and effortless things seemed to be with him and man ole man was he a tough lil joka lol. If Odell could only have had his humbleness I think he might still be here and doing big big things if it were not for the injuries......

Yeah…he was awesome.
Eli was erratic…but he gave his WRs a chance. Like you said…the anticipation, throw it to an area and let your guys make a play for you.
Something Daniel Jones just doesnt have.

All of the old greats back then back in the day pre Simms and LT I'm not up on where they played college ball............

Frank Gifford just came to mind because I just knew Giff played there. I'm not sure but I think he won the Heisman at USC.

Shit I might only be able to name 10 relevant players from USC that were actually decently good off top of my head lol. I do remember more names of guys who were hyped up that didn't turn out to do much at all though.......

He was destined to ball before he ever suited up.. Steve Smith Sr.. Who is canton bound is the toughest receiver to ever lace it up. Then from the gridiron to the hardwood you have gold medalist and seventeen year vet, Steve Smith. Hell, you can go back to the days when the Raiders were in the city of angels..They had a dependable and sure handed fullback by the name of Steve Smith.
Our Steve Smith who was the first player in franchise history to hit the century mark in receptions.. Was on pace to shatter the record books.. Had his career not been cut short due to having his knee shredded. He would have been the author to many cornerbacks misery. The former Trojan wrote his name in the history books when he converted a huge third down in the Super Bowl. Third and Smith was a beast when it mattered most..
