Seriously, what does it mean beating the Eagles in a garbage game, with a QB that's gone, the Eagles could care less by not playing there starters for most of the game! We win and lose in the draft which is far more important! Be careful Jeep. I'd hate to see you run afoul of the fan police here. I have a get out of jail card!

I might be pulling for the Giants to win this game after all since apparently draft position is less important than beating a teams back ups and here’s why. **** Schoen having more options to save his job, I want to pad my wallet. The Giants are currently +195 on the ML. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the cows/comanders game (as will the eagles) and once the cows get up by 14 I expect the Eagles to start pulling their starters and therefore giving us a somewhat legitimate chance to win, even if we’re behind at that time. So if I throw down $300 and this plays out like I’m almost positive it will, I would make $585. The question is are our starters capable of beating the majority of their back ups and can they overcome a potential deficit by the time philthy pulls their starters? TBH, I probably won’t have the cajones to do it and will stick to what I usually do which are live bets. I knew you'd come around, lol...

Titans won, Jets just about to win. At worst we are picking 6th.
Chargers beat Chiefs back ups and that solidifies our 5th pick even if we win.

At 8 those 2 stud OTs will be gone for sure. Pass Rushers, Bowers, and the CBs will most likely be available. I really dont want to take a CB in the 1st, personally, Id prefer us to go with a vet as our other outside CB to pair along with Banks. I feel like a strong vet presence will help with the development of Banks, Flott, Hawkins and who know, maybe even Aaron Robinson... is he still a football player? LOL I'm just saying even if we end up 8th there will be plenty of options for us. I agree about CB, but it's an option. If 3 QBs, 2 OTs and 2 WRs go then that leaves every defensive player, the "3rd" best WR and Bowers. A stud pass rusher paired with Dex and Thibs? Keon Coleman? Both great options to me. with Jets and Titans winning, I think the worst we can be is 6...

And if we lose? at best we'll be 3, that would be if both Cards and Commies win, and I give the Commies way less chance then us to win, so our window is probably more like 4 - 6.

And if we lose? Panthers lost, Patriots lost so at best 3rd pick. Depends on Commanders and and Cards.

I think it's what we could really use if Wink is still around.

At this point it's probably either 5 or 6. The Cards have a small chance, but Seattle needs a win to get into the playoffs and the Commanders are playing Dallas that want the division. That leaves the Chargers against the Chiefs back ups. If Chargers win and those two lose then a win or loss makes ZERO difference for us lol.
Go beat Philly.

The road to the 2nd overall pick is still alive: 1 PM Games: Patriots beat the Jets. Falcons beat the Saints. (need this outcome for Strength of Schedule) 4:25 Games: Eagles beat the Giants Commanders beat the Cowboys Cardinals beat the Seahawks. Bears beat the Packers (need this outcome for Strength of Schedule) Broncos beat the Raiders (need this outcome for Strength of Schedule) Update to where we stand in the draft: With the Jets and Titans winning, we can pick no worse than 6th overall, if we lose + Cardinals win our pick can be no better than 4th overall. We can no longer get the 2nd or 3rd overall pick.

Some reasonable chance that Daniels slips to 4 depending on trades and what not but if all 3 qb's do go top 3, you get Harrison Jr.

I think it's what we could really use if Wink is still around. I sure hope Wink isnt going anywhere. Ojulari is only a 2mil cap hit in 2024, so i dont expect him to go anywhere. Then again I dont expect much of him to begin with, LOL. I feel like in Winks system, the edge rusher isnt really at a premium, the blitzes come from all over the place. Its almost like its worth more to have an edge guy who is good at containment and stuffing the run versus a pass rushing specialist. That is why I feel like the best way to improve our pass rush would be to get someone who could replace Leonard Williams' production, a strong 3-tech DT who can stuff the run and collapse the pocket

Of course Swift is out of the game, which means we get to deal with Giants killers Gainwell and Scott.
