What if we take Nabers at 6, is there any chance we grab either of these two later as a developmental QB? I would not be opposed to that at all.

Hopefully they won't waste a pick on either of these

Rattler for me he has top 3 arm talent his baggage seems to be behind him got beat up in the SEC on an undermanned SC Team and delivered has a special arm not as athletic as you would want but can scape and create with his arm. What made him a top recruit did not go away the bad behavior did.

I'm sort of thinking out loud posting this. I mean you look at Brady and then Purdy. You really just never know. If we grab Rattler (I saw him play) who knows if he ends up being a great backup or could start. I just don't see us taking a QB tomorrow at 6.

There’s always a few exceptions and maybe one of them would work out but the odds are extremely slim. We still have too many needs to most likely waste a pick on either one of them IMO but it wouldn’t shock me if Schoen did and I wouldn’t be happy about it unless it was 5th round or later and I doubt they’ll be there.

Any QB is an option. I still don't like Rattler as a person and think he's a schmuck, but he's got some pretty impressive tools and he played under constant duress. I hate the idea of having to pull for someone I don't like as a person, but he could be someone to watch out for on day-2 or day-3.
There's a hodgepodge of QBs with decent traits who could ultimately be game managing type QBs in the right situation. Players like Pratt, Rattler, Leary, Hartman, Travis, Milton, Tagovailoa, Rourke, Bradley, etc. I just don't like the idea of using one of six picks on a QB of this caliber. Another reason why I think trading down is such an attractive option if we miss out on our QB at #6.

I think Brady went pretty far back Wasted pick. Personally I like Joe Milton III late as a developmental QB. Can't teach that arm nor that speed.
