The way the draft is dragged out and over-covered/analyzed really is hard to take. It’s all fluff and nonsense too.

I love all of it...the mocks, rumors, and BS that comes with it. The NFL draft is awesome...then come months of nothing but BS about how great DJ is looking, how great the OLine is looking, and how the rookies are going tear it up. I'll take draft silliness over that anyday.

I agree 100% it It is around 4 AM leaving soon to take my mind off the draft and get some Mahi or Cobia for the freezer be home around 2 PM take a nap watch what we do and relax. This will chill me out enough to stay relaxed through out this first round we won't have to wait long. |

Thing is they talk about everything but the things that make a good football player like take Simmons for instance they talked about the speed and athleticism but no one mentioned how hard it would be for him to wear all the hats they predicted he could or would be able to do for some guys that 4 years plus of learning and playing all those spots in 1 system it was silly to think he could do that at least right away. |

I'll take draft silliness over that anyday. Yep, the NFL has found a way to make what should be boring a spectacle. I love all of it too. I buy the guides and read all the mocks. I know the mocks are not accurate but it is like gambling. I love the guides because you can read up on the players and then if you hold on to them you can go back later on and see how players have progressed or not. Like you said, this is also the oasis before we head back into the desert and on to the next stop....which are camps. |

I’m po’d because I’ve listened to this bullshit for months but I’m at work and very well may miss a good part of the draft. Normally I wouldn’t care but this is the most interesting draft in years IMO. I don’t think recording it will be an option either 🤬

Mike Francesa says he has good sources in the organization saying they will pick Nabers.
In that case...
...I guess I'll have to brace myself for the Maye pick just hope Joe doesn't get ripped off. If Maye is there at 6 I wouldn't be as bothered.
Keeping Jones on the books while acquiring another QB and trading away draft capital for Maye isn't a great move imo.

So True, but it's amazing how many folks fall for the crap that's spewed by the writer's over & over, year after year.
