If McCarthy looks like a rising star at the end of the year while Jones is still bumbling, Schoen and Daboll are dead men walking. You know it and I now it. Forget all the other moves they made.
They'll need a Hail Mary answer at QB next offseason to survive 2025.

Thats when we really get a good look at if Jones is the right guy or not... LOL not sure about Jones but if he is that means as fans we should all be happy because ehe will have to be winning. That said he has answers now excuses are no longer available he has answers for quick pressure that can make teams pay with one mistake. Sorry. There was no excuses last year. And he was terrible. The people that want to use excuses will continue doing so.

Joe Schoen. “Alright guys.. (starts to clap) blue and through. Get New England on the line, I want that third spot.” Brandon Brown: “Got them Joe.. They said go **** yourselves.” Steve Tisch: “if anyone needs me.. I’ll be taking a nap in the back.” Brian Daboll: “New England said what? (Mumbles to himself) I can fix Daniel Jones.. I can fix Daniel Jones.. I can’t fix Daniel Jones.” Joe Schoen: “They want to play hardball. Offer them next years first. I may have been born in the night, but not last night.” Brandon Brown: “You wouldn’t believe it Joe.. They said if that’s the best offer we got. Don’t hold your breath.” Kevin Abrams: “Holds breath.” John Mara: “I got it from here on Joe. I like to thank myself.. My brother, Chris and the backbone of this room. Tim McDonnell. I went over the draft board and I decided to make some changes. Only a few.. and a few I mean the whole thing.”

Schoen may survive, but if we are not good Daboll is gone.

Nabers should fit Bobby Skowik’s offense well Maybe they go after Caserio’s righthand man from Houston Maybe because we don't know who will be available but I don't see anyway Schoen and Daboll aren't fired after this season. I think its a mistake to fire Daboll but Schoen is awful

Mara likes Jones thats common Knowledge but he gave the green light for them to trade up or do what ever they thought they needed to do to get up and get one if the liked one enough.

I think Nix and JJ may do well they will have systems that fit their strengths Denver just drafted Franklin that will help Nix transition and Franklins.

Ok what do you guys think round 4 Theo Johnson big fast can block and needs a little polish to his receiving game but has the traits to dominate what do you like or dislike about this pick.

Naw. With all the bold moves Schoen is making this offseason he has to make the playoffs. If he doesn't don't can him yet just run out the contract The bold moves? Trading for a 26 year old EDGE that's already good is just as much about long term planning as it is impact now. Schoen hasn't made a single move that's about a run this coming season. Doesn't mean some of these players won't have a significant impact this season, but they aren't short sighted moves. Amen reverend. Good to see another pilgrim in the fold. I agree they are not short sighted. Its all planned for 2025 when Schoen's succesor will be picking a QB in the top 5

Baring injury, Penix will not see the field this year... True but if Penix is even half as good as advertised then the Falcons are set up for at least 5 - 7 years. BTW how does Cousins look in blue?

Waller is going to retire, and Johnson will be the starter. He is a better blocker and receiver than Bellinger.

Nabers should fit Bobby Skowik’s offense well Maybe they go after Caserio’s righthand man from Houston yes to soon let's play some meaningful games first before we judge. Besides losing Saquon we are right now a better team then the end of last year. I could see Devito being good this year. He looked good in his rookie year he may see some time at QB this year and should be better then his rookie year...

My prediction. Schoen, Daboll and Jones are all on this team in 2028. Thats when we really get a good look at if Jones is the right guy or not... Don't worry, if Jones isn't successful by 2028 Schoen and Daboll will be gone.

Daboll needs to score and win, no one gives a shit what JJ does.

That is funny, it if you really listen to Mara, Schoen and Daboll are GUARANTEED 2025…..it might be a good thing, but the continual years of 2 years and gone was not the answer. Look at the Steelers.

A coach Gm combo really need 5 years unless they lose the locker room or are just a complete mess. They should not fear their jobs going into this season. But owners are old and want to win and don't have much patience.

In the 70’s through 90’d it was standard new management got a guaranteed 5: years……and there were a lot of very successful regimes……Bill Parcells first two years in Ny was a disaster…..year 3, and beyond was much, much better.

I am fine with the decisions, but the NY media is going to cover McCarthy as thoroughly as Jones. Schoen has to live or to die on that hill.

Jerry Jones in 2024 is going to make different decisions than Jerry Jones in 1994. It's much harder for a 70 year old to play the long game and give people 5 years than it is for a 50 year old.

You didn’t get much support on that comment - no surprise. There’s a shit load of people looking forward to seeing how JJ does and they do give a crap. You’re first sentence is comical. JJ will be throwing the ball all over the field to different targets. You’re already making excuses for his success 😜 It apparently bothers you that people are interested to see how JJ pans out and if the Giants screwed up. Toughen up buttercup because your arguments are bush league.

I don’t think we take Mara’s opinion into consideration when we decide if JS is cooked over QB decisions. Most likely, JS’ treatment of the QB position is either in line with ownership’s opinion or out of step with ownership’s position. I clearly have no inside info, but from what we’ve seen in the media recently and historically JS’ isn’t keeping DJ around with Mara fuming that he did. JS needs to get this team to perform by the end of his contract. What JJ does would matter if Mara was pushing for JJ and Schoen advised against it. Frankly, if Nabers is a miss, that’s a much bigger problem.
