Usually coming out of the draft the reviews of our selections are overly rosey and optimistic. This year they seem very pessimistic. Even our #1 received an A- in the NY Post article despite being the consensus #2 WR in the draft and checking an area of great need. From round 3 on they were all C grades or worse.
I realize that the guys doing the grading don't know shit about talent and have never had their jobs on the line of mistaken picks.
Still, what's going in in your opinion(s)?
Do you think our draft slate is really that underwhelming or is there something else happening here?

Right now we have a bunch of kids.. Still wet behind the ears as they take it all in. Proud moment for these young men. You’re now part of the fraternity.. You can’t buy yourself in, or sneak in the back. You’re hand picked as your life is now owned. It’s no longer just a game, it’s business now. Money, time, and energy is going into you. They will give you every tool to bring the best out of you. It’s up to you how bad you want it. Some are happy to be drafted, as others want to prove a point. Greatness is not given, it’s earned.
Screw the grades.. Just a waste of good oxygen. All that matters is how quickly they grasp the playbook. And adjust to the violence and speed of the game. Then we will know if these pencil pushing pussies know what the hell they’re talking about.

I’m seeing overall grades in the A or B + range from all the major publications.
Even PFF have is an A, which is rare praise from them.

Kiper is a hack just like all the rest and he gave them a B which is fair IMO. I mean a large part of the reason they got an A is because of Nabers which was hard not to **** up but most also acknowledged they are hedging their bets on Jones which is a risk. In all actuality, unless you pull a DG or Atlanta, every team picking in the top 10 should get an A.
