The question is do we take Matt Stafford, Max Unger or Clay Matthews. I'm thinking Stafford will help the most but having a stud C or pass rusher would be really nice.

As of right now, I think we're picking 29th in the 2009 draft. My guess is we'll target Hakeem Nicks.

My guess is that we screw this up by winning a few meaningless games at the end of the season

Of course the year that we have the 1st overall pick, there are no qb's worth a 1st round pick
While Bosa or Oliver would be awesome, id much rather trade down for picks

Justin Herbert here we come! Losing sucks but we got Barkley out of it and then if we can add the Franchise QB a year later who some have a higher grade on than even Sam Darnold already then I guess Losing is...WORTH IT?

I get that but a culture of losing is hard to shake. right now there is a culture of losing with our team. We are pretty much a laughing stock. That makes it tough. Free agents tend not to like signing with teams like that.

I hope Herbert is the real deal. He didn't look that impressive on Saturday night, but it was just one game and his ceiling is high. I'm in!

Yeah that is true, but the turn around can be quick if Gettlemen and Shurmur draft well and sign the right Free Agents

Losing is never worth it, but I don't remember the season before we drafted Eli so I'll be ok. Herbert might go back to school but I think Daniel Jones is pretty good too. If DG likes either one I'll be on board.

I still haven't seen anything with Hebert for me to think this guy is a legit franchise qb that can be elite.

Raiders are tanking harder than we are. If they get the first pick, Jon Gruden, the QB guru and Carr who still has much left in the tank will..... yeah right, these are not the Maras, they will do it right and take the QB. We'll end up reaching for the second tier QB or get an OT when all the defensive linemen are the real gems.

Imagine a healthy Nicks opposite of OBJ. Loved Nicks. Throw anything at him and he wins every jumpball. Every single time. Great possession receiver and deceptively fast/quick. Man, if he and Cruz never got injured, what could have been.

Yeah that is true, but the turn around can be quick if Gettlemen and Shurmur draft well and sign the right Free Agents BIG if. Gettlemans free agent signings have been below average. The team went from 'Win Now' in September to 'Fire Sale' in October.

If DG likes either one I'll be on board. Jones is VERY Underrated mostly because he plays at Duke which we all know is not known for Football but yeah I can see him working his way up before the draft
