Game is at noon against Northwestern. Anyone really familiar with them? The center seems to be intriguing as a rd 2 pick. But that’s just from internet reading...

Oklahoma has some decent OL. They create big holes. Thats why their qb puts up eye popping numbers every week.. A couple of draft picks there.

I'd draft o linemen from Wisconsin (and Iowa)every year if I could (even the mid to late round guys from these schools tend to be good)because those are 2 of the last schools left that actually value coaching their linemen up and teaching good technique. Even their backups that rarely play are probably better actual prospects than many kids coming from other programs

What amazes me with there OL and Jonathan Taylor . They not in contention in there division or the BCS. Hornibrook in not a good college QB. They have D. Davis (rec.) and Ferguson at TE. Jon Deitzen there left tackle use to play hockey. So he should have good balance. I don't see him as a LOT in the NFL. I see him as ROT or guard.

As for Wisconsin OL, my favorite has to be Center Tyler Biadasz, dude is the total package. He's strong, mobile, very aware, great in pass pro, just as good in run blocking. Somehow he is getting mocked in the 4th round of the draft, hell i would take him in the 3rd.... if we had a 3rd round pick, LOL

Maybe him being a center is what has got people sleeping on him. I don't mind Benzchawel either. Needs to improve in pass protection. But Biadasz is nasty. Best center in the draf besides Risner, who if he played there would be the best available.

If Biadasz was a guard he would be talked about being drafted MUCH MUCH higher, him, Risner, and Michael Jordan from Ohio St are all great choices at center come draft day. I would put Elgton Jenkins from Miss St up there but every time I watch him I just feel like im looking at Richburgh 2.0, he's athletic, has good technique, but there doesnt seem to be a mean bone in his body, he BARELY plays til the whistle and never beats up his opponent. I want my OL to be mean ass kickers that want to go out and beat the crap out of their opponents, not just neutralize them on the play. As for Risner, he is a nasty prospect, his biggest weakness has to be when he is lined up on the outside and going against speed rushers, other than that, the kid is a solid prospect that wants to DOMINATE his opponent, after he pancakes 1 guy he looks for the next sucker up to get punched in the mouth, THATS the attitude i want from my OL

It'll be interesting to see. Jamon Brown has some ingredients to work with to become a solid RG, mainly pass protect. RT and C are in need. Biadasz is my favourite center. Right tackle is a bit different however. Jawaan Taylor - Florida. Found him to be decent as a 2nd to 3rd round guy. Isaiah Prince - Ohio State maybe a 4th. There's a bit of a gap between best and worst in this draft on the offensive line. Along with glaring needs in the secondary and pass rush, Let's see how it pans out. If a QB is taken it is a massive gamble considering the 2020 guys available and the luxury to fix up those holes this draft with a trade back. I like Herbert and Jones. With the right coaching Herbert has elite Wentz potential or just another Blake Bortles. There is no way either is returning to school with Tua, Fromm and Eason coming out too.

As for OT, im a fan of Jonah, Yodny Cajuste from WVU, Andre Dillard from Washington St more so for LT. To be honest, I havent watched much of Jawaan Taylor, ill check him out. Id be absolutley on board with not taking a qb this draft, ESPECIALLY if Herbert stays in school

I keep forgetting Eason as well in 2020(also better than anyone in the 2019 class) Getting back to the Olne,Getty can harvest 3 of them between rounds 2 and 5 where the value is and get probably at least 2 starters and a high end back up with his record of mid round hits on the line

Giants would be lucky to have him for their early 2nd.

If you look at the top OL in the league, lots of Notre Dame guys Zack Martin, Nelson, Mc Glinchey, Ronnie Stanley, Nick Martin. That is a LINE right there...of just Notre Dame guys from the last 4 years

Alex Bars is pretty steady but the knock is on his ability to play OT at the next level. He projects favorably as a guard.
I broke down some of his tape in my OL thread but I will watch more film as time goes on and more games get uploaded to boobtube.

I would only use him as an OT if absolutely necessary, I wouldnt mind him at guard at all, sucks he got hurt earlier this year
