Good signing if he stays healthy. But he is a catcher with a history of leg issues.

Lowrie, nice add. I don't know if operation add vets is going to work, but I sure hope it does. Hey, can't say this guy isn't going for it. Also he gets the Wilpons to come out of their pockets again. Another positive development. Also only a 2 year deal here as well.

Already Mets season taking a turn for the worst. 2 year 20 million new infield Jed Lawrie having an MRI on his knee. Pain in the back of knee. Problems and he hasn't played an inning for the Mets yet. Hes coming off his first allstar appearance mhttp://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/26039281/new-mets-infielder-jed-lowr Man, I dont know who has the worse luck, Mets or Knicks. Knicks tanking for Zion, didnt even draft him yet, and he just got injured...

What type of injury did Zion get?

I just saw it. Mild knee sprain 36 seconds into their game against UNC. They said the Nike BB shoe fell apart ( blew up ) on a hard plant and whole bottom came off from heel to toes allowing his foot to come through the hole.
Needless to say Duke isnt the same team without him. They got blown out 88-72 by North Carolina.

Yes and the Mets like the giants seem to sign FAs that have a rep of NEVER GETTING HURT. Yet as soon as they sign on the dotted line it seems like they fall in the shower. Remember was it Schwartz for giants. Hardly ever played. The list goes on and on. Knicks, Mets, Giants, Rangers all seem to have the worst luck.

I just thought I'd make an appearance in the Mets thread but I have to admit I don't know much about the Mets.... Does Gary Gentry still pitch for you guys?

HE also never missed a game for the Cowboys his first 4 years, then we signed him in 2009 and he only was able to play 8 games. Thats the injury bug we were discussing for the team.

I heard Duke Coach K burned a redshirt year on a player RJ Barrett who was 75/80% through the year or after being 27 games in. He scored 30 points I wonder if this means Zion injury worse then originally thought or done for the year?

Mets legend Tom Seaver has dementia. Legendary Met and Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver has been diagnosed with dementia, his family announced in a statement Thursday. Seaver will continue to work on his vineyard in California, but will no longer make public appearances. nypost.com/2019/03/07/mets-legend-tom-seaver-has-dementia/

Very pleased with the Ramos signing. We finally will have a trusted veteran presence behind home plate. Ramos can throw guys out stealing and hopefully he is a great fit our young pitching staff's development. He also adds a solid bat to the lineup. Like Ramos! a welcome change from D'Anuad. we need to free some more cash up. why do we have that weed Cespedes taking up valuable money???
PS on a sad note for Tom Seaver! gave us fans some great pitching. prayers to him and his family! He is a class act and a great MET!
