With SB in the picture now, I expect all WR stats to go down for OBJ/Shep/Engram. Giants will be running the ball more as well as trying to get the ball in SBs hand's via the pass at least 60-70x this yr, that means less touches for the WRs. But that's good as long as SB is being productive running & receiving. OBJ will still get his 1000yds 10+ TDs and if Shep/Engram can combine for another 1600yds & 12-14 TDs to go along with SB's 1000+yds & 10+TDs via rush/rec, that should = 24-27ppg for the team & a ticket to the playoffs.

Lets see if he can be the best no matter what age. He had a fine rookie year and hopefully he makes even a bigger jump this year. With Odell back in the picture receiving most of the scrutiny he should have opportunities. That safety over the top has to go with Odell leaving a mismatch with Engrams speed and height. I'm hoping to do a lot of cheering this season.

The 2 best TEs the Giants have ever had were Bavaro & Shockey, no debate on that. Both played 6yrs for the NYG.
Shockey: 371 rec 4228yds 27 TDs Best season was his rookie yr 74 rec for 894yds
Bavaro: 266 rec 3722yds 28 TDs Best season was his 2nd yr 66 rec for 1001yds
Engram: 64 rec for 722 yds & 6 TDs Just on his rookie yr numbers alone , is already in 86th place on the Giants all time receivers list and lets say he duplicates last yr's numbers, he would shoot up all the way to # 40, a 3rd yr with those numbers would shoot him up to #29 & a 4th yr with 700+yds & 66 rec would have him at #21 all time.
Shockey is #15 on the all time Giants receiver list & Bavaro is #18. So he could possibly surpass them both in his 5th yr as a Giant if he can maintain his rookie numbers for the next 4 yrs.

I think this kid has just scratched the surface. He accomplished things under some appalling conditions last year. With weapons around him, a veteran QB, and a professional coaching staff. This is the one guy I want to see hit the field. If this kid can be a student of the game(Jason Witten), he will be phenominal.

No you shouldn't . With all the moves that were made this offseason we all should have very high expectations, I do not care how they move the ball or who scores. Just as long as the can .
