www.sbnation.com/nfl/2018/6/18/17474968/nfl-odds-win-totals-giants-cardinals-over-under-bets"For starters, he will be able to use the Giants’ explosive offense weapons in a manner that better suits their abilities. The West Coast offense uses formations, stacks and shifts to work guys open. It will allow Odell Beckham, Sterling Shepard, and Evan Engram to get into the open field. Add in the additions of Nate Solder and Will Hernandez to the offensive line along with drafting running back Saquon Barkley, and the offense should be full steam ahead in 2018. I know, I know, what about Eli Manning? He can still play. We saw late in the season when he threw for 400 yards against the Eagles in an offense that never matched what he has done well in his career. If we turn the attention towards the defense, they have Oliver Vernon and Snacks Harrison upfront to go with Landon Collins and Janoris Jenkins in the back end. Add in defensive coordinator James Bettcher from Arizona, who’s Cardinals ranked in the top six in yards allowed in each of Bettcher’s three seasons as defensive coordinator. I love the Giants to make the over!"I wonder if he would have taken the over on him playing 14 games in 2 seasons for the Giants? With all kidding aside I love the optimism

Intellectually, I know that it wasn’t Schwartz’s fault that he got hurt here, but I can’t help it ... he still bugs me

I cannot listen to him on radio. It's not the content but his voice. He just drones on and on.
But he may be right about these two teams.

I like Schwartz and no matter his injuries knocked the heck out of him and the team after what looked like a great pick up. He is a Giants fan and roots for them. Hope his optimism is right on target. Wouldn't that be wonderful on offense after the last 2 years.

He was the #1 O lineman in free agency and had a lot to do with the great running success in KC. Just bad luck that he couldn't shake the injury bug when he got here.

"Another win total I’m buying is for the New York Giants to go over 6.5 at -155."
I could see the Giants winning 7 games this year. Maybe even 8.

He laid down zero resume here I can't stand him weighing in on the strengths and weaknesses of his former teammates. It may be too severe but it is how I feel. I am also always suspicious of guys who are on 4 teams in 6 years. The other teams are not stupid. If he really had the goods, the tenacity and leadership one looks for in an OL, one of the other 3 would have never let him go.

I definitely liked the signing, he had a good resume on paper and he filled a huge need for us that hadn't been taken care of in the draft. It is everything that followed which I never liked, starting with pontification to reporters week in and out regarding the team while not suiting up on Sunday.
