Democrat. Republican. Independent. Martin Luther King III isn’t interested in who you’re voting for, he just wants you to get involved.

With 60% and under turnout even for presidential elections, I could not agree more. I think many people take our democracy for granted and have grown complacent.

People do need to exercise their right to vote more. If you refuse to vote then you don't get to complain about what the politicians are doing in office when you have the power to help dictate who gets into office.

Voting is the purest form of freedom speech . To exercise that right is show you take direct responsibility for the freedoms that are so easily taken for granted . 40% is abysmal.
