I broke down in my truck right outside the old stadium once and I didn’t even care! Sat there waiting for the tow truck, smoking a cigarette and just staring at GIANTS stadium. The place had an aura. I miss it like a long deceased friend!

I loved the Giants having their own home and hate the dump they play in now.

I miss it like a long deceased friend! When it was built it was state of the art. And it was still a much better place to watch a game than the new crappy stadium.
Plus it was easy to get everywhere in the place. Can't believe we're stuck with this new mausoleum.

Yes and not too happy we are still sharing a stadium with the J-E-T-S, wish they would get their own

I loved the Giants having their own home and hate the dump they play in now. You could see the game from every seat in that place! Now in the 3 section your in a different county as the field.

I've never set foot in the new stadium, and don't ever plan to.

"Old Giants Stadium"....I immediately had flashbacks to my childhood growing up and thought of the Polo Grounds. That's the first stadium I remember the football Giants playing in.

The only Giants game I’ve ever been to was in 2008 at Giants Stadium. Was vs the Bengals. Glad I got to experience the stadium before it was torn down. Too bad they messed up the replacement.

I think of the old stadium every game and miss it. That thought is always coupled with the fact that taxpayers footed the bill and it pisses me off even more that they have the stadium they do now.

Season tickets were in my family for a couple of generations, and I attended probably 95% of every Giants game ever played at Giants' Stadium. I got priced out of seats in the same area in the new stadium and took seats upstairs in Terrace 1. Going to the games was never the same. In the old stadium, I sat around the same people/families for 30 years. In the new stadium, I rarely saw the same faces twice. The stadium just isn't very good too. 2 years ago when I found myself wishing I could stay home and watch the game on my 65" HDTV, I knew it was time to let the seats go. I sold my PSL for what I paid, and if I want to go to a game I can usually find tickets for face value or less.

I went to 2 games in my life at Giants stadium. Giants vs Jets in 93', Giants lost 10-6 & Jets vs Colts in 98' Jets won 44-6, some Colts rookie QB named Manning stunk it up that day.

I guess I'm one of the rare few who likes the new stadium over the old one.

I guess I am going to agree with everything you say today. The sight lines inside that stadium were great and even in the upper deck you felt like you could touch the field. It didn't have creature comforts but you could always find a friend during half time to say hi. Now, you can't really move about at all. Even moving from one club section to another is like trying to leave the old East Germany...…..they have many men at the crossings not interested in improving your game day experience.
