Let me see if I got this straight. If I see a rather large man or woman would it be proper for me to call them Giants? Or how bout' calling chicks with larger than average attributes 'bootylishious'? Or BBB (won't tell ya what the first B means)...
So this PC speech restrictions only extends to certain segments of the population. Exemptions to these rules include the following groups; Comics, Rappers, PC thought police, modern-day feminists, neo-marxist university professors, left wing "news" organizations, left leaning 'entertainment' networks..etc..The rest of us have to follow these unwritten rules or suffer the consequences.
I'm gonna assume you are continuing to joke around in your second paragraph because many of those you listed actually hold themselves to higher standards than those they oppose. The "left" eats their own without hesitation.

Betsy Ross was a quaker and part the abolitionist movement. Didn't the Quakers help fake the moon landing? I think I read that somewhere. that was stanley kubrick because he was already filming 2001 space odyssey , he also dropped hints it was his work in some of his movies.

SB has the right to say whatever he wants. Although isn't this topic a dead horse at this point? Not at all a dead topic. Social justice isn’t going away and that Kap situation exposes a social disparity in sports. I’m glad more athletes are speaking out.

Then why did he bring a case against the NFL for conspiring against him to keep him out of the league ? The case flopped . That sounds like victim-ism to me. Add the fact he brought the case against the league after he opted out of his contract with the 49ers and turned down the Denver contract. It quacks it is a duck. No. The case didn’t flop. Lawyers for NFL advises owners to settle and that’s what they did. Standing up for yourself isn’t being a victim. CK1 stood up for himself. He settled for less the 5% of the original Lawsuit. him and Reid wanted 100 million each . If they had a case . Why would they settle for that. The NFL gave them go away money so they did not have to pay their lawyers to fight it. It was cheaper.

I don't see how being against hitting women is political? Besides we all know what Eli's politics are. What if Eli kneeled during the national anthem? would your head explode? or would it be rationalized and he would get a privileged pass? I'd want him off the team too, I don't watch football to see people protesting anything. I want to see the game being played and that only.

Kap's protest isn't against the military. He's protesting the disproportionate amount of deadly force people of color experience with police when compared to what white people experience. The national anthem isn't owned by the military. The National Anthem is owned by the police?

End thread. Send this to Barkley. It doesnt fit todays narritive. What's seriously going on today, is police suicides are rising and ability to control situations and protect themselves and civilians is falling. Just look at the recent incidents of things being thrown at police, and they have to sheepishly walk away because of how they are cast these days. It's a no win situation for them, and this is not at all beneficial to the minorities who live in areas where criminals and gangs would love to gain control.

Not at all a dead topic. Social justice isn’t going away and that Kap situation exposes a social disparity in sports. I’m glad more athletes are speaking out. Great let them speak out on there own time. My employer will not allow me to protest anything on their time .Kap is not a good QB and has been out of the game now 3 years .He's done. That is not true nor legal. You're here on your companies time (I assume), expressing your opinions and I don't think you'll be receiving a pink slip. Saying Kap isn't a good QB is a cop out. I can name you worse QB's in the league. Why is Nate Peterman on a roster? Why is Geno Smith on a roster? Is Alex tanny and Kyle Lauletta better than Kap? You'd have a hard time proving that and the fact that some of you make these blanket statements about his skill set without seeing him play is outrageous. Chad Kelly break into someones house, gets into fights and he's still on a team. Baker Mayfield runs from cops on camera and he's still on a team. Guys knock their girlfriends out and they are still on teams, but kap doesn't get a shot for kneeling.... Lord this country is F---D. I really want the players to pool their resources and leave the league all together to form their own league. Have you guys cheering for a bunch of bums. Some people only care about minorities when it comes to their sports team, but once the game is over, y'all can care less about the players or their communities. I think the players need to stop making money for everyone else and start their own league. Let the race trolls go watch what's left.

It’s not that hard to understand You forgot that he's not that good of a QB. Its irrelevant. Look at Odell. GREAT player but the Giant FO believed he wasnt worth the head ache. Fortunately the Browns (and Im sure a few other teams) thought he was. Same thing with Antonio Brown and the Steelers.

You go to McDonalds', you don't give a crap if the cashier is a saint at home, but if that cashier called you a bad name you'd demand that person to be fired. Period, you wouldn't care who else they had employed, what those people had done in the past. You care about how that particular employee acted towards you as a particular customer. Also, comparing someone getting a job after making a past mistake, that they admit is a mistake, is different than choosing to continuing to employ someone who expressively states he will continue to conduct himself in a fashion that insults the fanbase and draws attention away from the business of football. That has hundreds of millions of dollars of potential implications to it, and no owner is going to risk that for the sake of having a moderately better back-up QB. And the hypocrisy goes many ways friend. There is an active movement right now for Louis CK to start working again after sexually harrassing behavior, but yet, Rosanne says a nasty, horrible tweet and she's barred for life. What's worse, sending a nasty tweet? Or sexual harrassment? But yet, James Gunn sent out some horrible tweets as well, but people want him to do GoG3, but Kevin Hart gets booted from the Oscars. One thing about people is they are consistently inconsistent about their outrage until it effects them.

Who else do you think he's referring to then? Some other unknown group of people?

Who else do you think he's referring to then? Some other unknown group of people? And, you be clear, I'm not particularly "outraged" by any of this stuff. I think he's being shortsighted and foolish when he turns a unifying symbol of the US flag and turns it into something divisive and imparting negative meaning onto something that symbolizes the ideals the country tries to strive for. But, I'm not into the whole "he shouldn't be in the NFL" thing. However, I see exactly where the owners are coming from in terms of choosing not to sign him. What's the benefit? Having a good back-up QB, assuming you run the very specific offense that suits his skill set. What's the negative? A huge distraction to your team, the potential of pissing off a big part of your fanbase, all of which wont go away since he's made it clear that every time he gets in front of a mic he's going to push his message. It's like the Tim Tebow problem. The dude's talent isn't worth the hassle that comes with it.

And Heir agent orange calling other countries s holes and telling citizens that happen to be other ethnicities to Go back to where they came from. May not be "racist" it certainly is offensive. Suppose i said all our HC's should go back to ireland and eat potatoes there. , wouldn't that offend some?

Suppose i said all our HC's should go back to ireland and eat potatoes there. , wouldn't that offend some? But, the point is that, almost no one in the country thinks oppression is OK. But, he's implying there is a large swath of the country that is. He has to be, otherwise he wouldn't feel the need to kneel for the flag that represents the people of that country. So, calling a country racist, only implies to certain people being racist. But, calling a country an S-Hole refers to all of the people in those countries? Again, inconsistency abounds. And again, this is Kaep, taking a symbol that everyone could get behind. The idea that no matter your political affiliation, your color, religious views, all that stuff, people could come together and acknowledge each other as fellow countrymen. You don't see anyone calling anyone else slurs or whatever when we're all standing for the anthem. And, also, Trump is part of the problem with that division as well when he decided to insert himself into the issue as well. The flag doesn't represent him, it represents all of us, and ideals bigger than any of us. Trump made it about him, and frankly, it's not about him. The country and it's issues are never about one person, for good or bad.
