Everyone is assuming both Thomas and Young will be gone 75% chance we still have a shot at one of these guys at 4 Washington will want to surround Haskins, they don't have a LT and who knows with Snyder, might want the ultimate Toy with Jeudy And don't discount Detroit maybe moving on from Stafford if they love one of these QBs or trading back with Miami.. Honestly Okudah and Jeudy would both make me break shit at 4...mainly because of how deep both positions are this year. But I would actually hate the corner pock more because of how much assets were thrown at the position the past 2 years (including the 2019 3rd rounder because of the comp pick and the trade up ) I could talk myself into justifying a Jeudy pick after calming down because our depth chart at WR is Slayton Shepard (one concussion away from retirement Tate (aging and expensive And But still...I would hope we explored all options to trade back first Of course we have no idea what the big boards will look like in 4 months...because as a reminder Demontre Moore was a solid top 10 prospect this time 2012.. I see a huge gap between Okudah and the other corners...again, at this stage. I don't see that big of gap between Jeudy and two of his teammates, let alone the other 5-10 top wide outs this year...I see so many graded as first rounders. Hell, I like Ruggs better than Jeudy, who I see drop a lot of easy passes...and yes, they are easy, because his route running and separation is incredible. Okudah > 2nd best corner. Jeudy closer to the many many many other wide outs coming out this year. A LEGIT shutdown corner makes any DC's job a lot easier...as does a Chase Young. Okudah has shutdown corner written all over him...and our cornerbacks talent level now, and IMHO, in the future, is in the need, desperate need of a major pass rush. Heh I actually think (brace yourself)Jeudy is a bit.... *gasp* overrated to be honest(the drops) My preference is Lamb is the best reciever in this year's draft... But I get your point with how insanely deep this class is I actually in a way see picking Okudah at 4 or 5 the same way the Lions took Calvin Johnson making 4 out of 5 years they took a WR in the top 10.... Which is why Stafford never had a complete team.. While not as dramatic a lot of recourses were spent draft wise the past years. Yes they are all still young, but do we need to have to throw yet another rookie back there with this inexperienced group? Honestly if we can't trade back and Wirfs goes back to school I'd almost settle for reaching for Simmons at 4,at least it's a position of need and the highest ranked guy at his position

Quickest feet in college football...so fluid, so quick, so sound in technique...and his ball skills now among the best I have seen. 4:30...against number 2...YOWZA! He should be the next great corner shutdown.... But....I'm still saying OT all day long...but no to Chaisson, Simmons, Delpit and Weaver at 5...now, if two teams want a Herbert or Tua, I have no issues trading back to the highest bidder...haha, as you can see with my mocks. It's your fault for temping me with that ultimate GM... BTW, Wirfs should be able to handle LT, and will be playing LT if he stays in school. Alaric Jackson had an off year, and Wirfs struggled a bit when he covered a few games at LT when Alaric Jackson went down a few games with the knee...still see Wirfs as a future left tackle stud in the NFL...but, not in the same class as Thomas. Alaric Jackson BTW, might make a good second day pick if the draft plays out correctly for us. His slump could be our mid round gem.

4: R1P4 OT ANDREW THOMAS GEORGIA- More than likely lost out on Chase Young. He is likely going to Washington. LT was a major need before that happened so getting Andrew Thomas would dramatically improve that position.
36: R2P4 EDGE CURTIS WEAVER BOISE STATE- We still need help rushing the passer and Weaver would be a really solid option in the 2nd round. He can also play the run well which is a plus. Weaver would be a good consolation prize to missing out on Young. This team needs help up front on both sides of the ball.
97: R3P33 LB AKEEM DAVIS-GAITHER APPALACHIAN STATE- He is a really intriguing player I think. He can do a little of everything from the LB position. He seems a bit small for a LB but fits that mold of the speedy LB’s who can make plays all over the field. He kind of has that Telvin Smith type of vibe to him which would be great for this defense and very refreshing compared to watching slow a** Olgetree for the last couple years
112: R4P4 C DARRYL WILLIAMS MISSISSIPPI STATE- C needs to be addressed for sure. I am not a believer in Halapio or Pulley. Getting an upgrade would be huge for the offensive line.
151: R5P4 OT LUCAS NIANG TCU- I like what I’ve seen from Gates, but hard to deny the value of Niang at this point in the draft. Would really provide very solid depth at the very least.
185: R6P4 WR DENZEL MIMS BAYLOR- WR could use an extra playmaker and Mims could certainly provide that. Love the value although I’d be shocked to see him at this point in the draft.
220: R7P4 RB ZACK MOSS UTAH- Good depth at RB to ease the load off Saquon from time to time. Runs very hard and would be a guy the fans really really like I would think. I love the value at this point.
247: R7P31 S JULIAN BLACKMON UTAH- I think Love could be a really solid FS but some depth at the least couldn’t hurt. Blackmon is a good player on a really solid Utah defense.
249: R7P33 TE C.J. O'GRADY ARKANSAS- big bodied TE who is tough to bring down when he catches the ball. Has really solid hands. Almost has some Witten to his game (not saying that’s what he will be in the league at all). I think he could be a really solid option and could give us flexibility to use multiple TE looks

Depending how our 1st round pick goes, i wouldnt be opposed to taking him in the 2nd, but 5th overall is a little early for my liking. I agree with the high risk high reward when it comes to Chaisson, i feel like its a toss up between him and Weaver for best 2nd round pass rushing prospect A new Weaver video vs Florida State...watched this new one as I await for the Frankie Edgar fight from Korea I prefer the five star bender Chaisson vs the 3 star recruit Weaver, who has no bend at all. Weaver does drop in coverage, despite being the far thicker player vs K'Lavon...just want to edges to have that bend, and having that tremendous athletic ability...I see that with Chaisson all year long watching LSU...Weaver has the production...I guess it's how our, or any NFL scout feels they will translate into the NFL. I see both 2nd rounders, but because they are edge players, they will be pushed up. IMHO, too many quality offensive tackles to not get two this year...as TEM suggests correctly, out biggest need. We all know Dave Gettleman is going to draft DT Derrick Brown from Auburn anyway.... Well that was a very unflattering video of Weaver. If we draft a DT in the 1st I will be smashing my remote into a million pieces for the 2nd year in a row

I haven't come out against the trade because I feel if we resign him he would make the front 3 devestating.. We let him walk and then take Brown(and make no mistake,if Williams walks this is at least a 50% probably) we will in effect spent a number 4 overall pick and a high 3rd on Brown I will not be happy at all

Yep...damn, forgot about Hurts...we can only hope for a QB lovefest between two teams...Herbert could impress, but he's so quiet and introverted many teams will be put off by that lack of alphaness. Tua, I just can't see any legit teams going to trade up for that type of injury...might come down to the fact Tua's injury costs us Young. Burrow and Tua and a 3 spot...I'd like our chances...not with JUST Burrow...many NFL personal are suggesting Chase Young as the 1 overall all day long vs burrow...I rend to agree.

Now that Chase Young is likely gone, I personally want Andrew Thomas or trade back a couple picks and select someone like Simmons, Lamb, Wirfs, etc
I’m not going to lie Simmons and Lamb are extremely intriguing especially in a very good OT draft. That being said I would hate to get out of the first without getting someone to help up front on defense or offense. Simmons or Lamb with added picks would be very hard to pass up if Thomas is gone

So that was fun, a full day posting on the main forums, experiencing the name calling, the insults, the intensity of seriousness in so many peoples wretched lives, and must admit...it was a blast. However, while arguments over wanting a better pick vs winning some meaningless games might be the most important debate in the history of sports...I'll continue here and make amends with whatever picks we end up with. Yes, Aris is on the job creating more picks as he whores out all his picks for more, more, more.... and believes every player I draft will be hall of fame...because I watch lots of college ball, an youtube videos and just know these things. In this latest installment I have traded back a few spots to acquire once again, the seemingly new latest greatest Giants pick, and a player we have been mocking down here since Gee put the fanspeak simulator up once again at season beginning...yeah, Simmons is a great player, but a bit of a reach at 3-5...at least for myself, and others down below deck here. A player with a trade back, sure...and he will make a genius once again out of Bettcher...although who knows if he is still around, as it seems the mob needs heads to roll...the usual emotional recourse of a New Yorker, and human nature by design. As this was happening, western society, our wonderful culture, wasted no time in offering all the news containing how the coach should be to blame, jailed, killed if anybody had a kid in there...and how could he take them here...viewers as programmed sheep, blaming somebody for this completely horrible accident. Thanking the coach who had the children's best interest in going into the cave system, and the best interest in keeping them alive as they got stuck in the cave. ...a wonderful display of what humans can still be if given the time to channel out the negative emotions. How far back did you go in round 1?(seems to have been deleted ) Cosmi and Niang...both of those guys will be good NFL starting tackles... Fixed, it was 12...4 to 12. Lost out on Thomas, but did the as you say, spray method with solid OT's...Prince, Sam and Lucas ...Lucas Niang, WHO NEVER GETS BEAT! BTW, Lucas Niang, the guy who never gives up a sack?...is recovering from hip surgery...will be back to normal. Torn hip labrum...still taking this stud if he is a 2nd day pick. Isn't that the same injury Ramscyk had?

That was my first left shoulder operation...second was torn cuff. Bone on bone...scraping the bone to make less painful movement. Now is a right tackle stud...Wisconsin is an OL factory Not scaring me away from Lucas

And you just KNOW he is in that office salivating over Brown. If we didn't make the trade he probably would be Let's hope we have the chance for him to salivate when we pick with Thomas or Wirfs as the "break glass in case of emergency " pick Lets hope even AFTER the trade that he doesnt make that pick, because unfortunately its still a possibility. I sure HOPE that we still are in the running to get Thomas, and if not, hopefully Wrifs declares for the draft, cause while there are a few good options like Tega Wanogho and Niang we need someone who could start day 1 without question

Now that Chase Young is likely gone, I personally want Andrew Thomas or trade back a couple picks and select someone like Simmons, Lamb, Wirfs, etc I’m not going to lie Simmons and Lamb are extremely intriguing especially in a very good OT draft. That being said I would hate to get out of the first without getting someone to help up front on defense or offense. Simmons or Lamb with added picks would be very hard to pass up if Thomas is gone I would take either even over Jeudy to be honest.. Lamb, maybe. Simmons, no. Simmons has been falling to the late 1st or early 2nd. And while he is a great ILB prospect, Im not sure how much the drop off is between him and Troy Dye from Oregon. Why all of the Jeudy hate all of a sudden....

And yeah It gets mentally draining getting dogpiled on by the instant grating trolls that want to completely blow up the entire team not even 2 years into a complete rebuild because we arnt 10- 5 right now Then spew attacks us sane ones that try to he rational. Many of these fools on 2nd and 3rd profiles.. Yea, I dont pay any of those jabroni's any mind. They want to intentionally tank after we go below .500 and if we dont get the 1st overall pick we should fire everybody. I talk on here because I assume there are more intelligent and fans 'in the know' but in actuality there are just as many irrational here as there are on facebook and reddit..... Now that I say it, seems like reddit actually has the most rational fans of all the social media outlets if you ask me

Not hate The few times I've seen him he has had a few drops while the other guys have been clean in regards to that Also Lamb has been doing this this year with really nobody else close to his ability meaning opposing defenses have been scheming to take him away, though he has still produced despite this his production dipped a bit,(but showing he can beat double teams and schemes enough to make plays shows me a lot) Jeudy has the route running and athleticism on him and everone else which is why he is top dawg I just prefer Lamb

I wont lie, coming out of college Ramscyk's injury history scared me away from him even though he was a hell of a college player. Looks like I was wrong, because Ram has been absolutely SOLID so far in his career While Im a big fan of Niang, Im not picking him in the 1st and maybe not even the 2nd

My 1st draft of the year where we are arguably on the outskirts of the Andrew Thomas/Chase Young lotto, and SOMEHOW he fell to us at 4. I didnt get a chance to solidify our pass rush, but the OL has been ideally fixed and added some needed depth with Durant. Im VERY happy with how this draft turned out, but honestly I took a shot with Pride at CB in the 7th but I dont really know much about him
4: R1P4 OT ANDREW THOMAS GEORGIA 36: R2P4 WR TEE HIGGINS CLEMSON 97: R3P33 C LLOYD CUSHENBERRY LSU 112: R4P4 LB TROY DYE OREGON 151: R5P4 RB ZACK MOSS UTAH 185: R6P4 S MYLES DORN NORTH CAROLINA 220: R7P4 TE HARRISON BRYANT FLORIDA ATLANTIC 247: R7P31 OT YASIR DURANT MISSOURI 249: R7P33 CB TROY PRIDE JR. 4: R1P4 WR CEEDEE LAMB OKLAHOMA 36: R2P4 OT PRINCE TEGA WANOGHO AUBURN 97: R3P33 C LLOYD CUSHENBERRY LSU 112: R4P4 LB CHAZZ SURRATT NORTH CAROLINA 151: R5P4 EDGE TIPA GALEAI UTAH STATE 185: R6P4 CB ESSANG BASSEY WAKE FOREST 220: R7P4 RB TREY SERMON OKLAHOMA 247: R7P31 TE HARRISON BRYANT FLORIDA ATLANTIC 249: R7P33 OT YASIR DURANT MISSOURI

I loved Jeudy last year and don’t get me wrong he is a hell of a player. I think someone like Lamb would be perfect. Big, strong, good hands, hard to bring down, elusive, good routes, etc. Jeudy is shifty as hell and runs very good routes, but I agree that I think Lamb is more of a fit for our team and I think Simmons improves the team more as it stands than Jeudy.

I need to be doing one of these regular without the trade back option because as much as I love Lamb I'd be trading back here

NOTRE DAME I like...we will have 90 million to spend..do you go pass rush with it? I see 4-5 production studs available right now...things can change of course. I do not see any OT...maybe Humphries, and Conklin...but nothing like having a Thomas grow with Mr. Jones. I'm just wondering where we send some of that cash...Williams and Golden are signed if we can, we still have 70 million...that be a lot of dough for some pass rush.
