Jags leading WR last year Marquise Lee injuries his knee last night vs Falcons. Had to be carted off. MRI today or tomorrow. They think he might be done for the year. www.espn.com/nfl/recap?gameId=401030940

We were all concerned when Engram was down for so long in Jets game. Thinking it was something that could be season ending or at least keep him out of the first few games.
Turns out they will shut him down at least a week and he is in concussion evaluation but word is he should be good to go week one
Little did we know the following night one of their ( Jags ) most consistent producers would go down and it's almost certain he won't play week one if at all this year
He was drafted out of USC in 2015. I remember guys on the old boards talking him up pre draft

that looked like a really ugly injury. Saw it this morning. Feel really bad for him, he's a good receiver.

Blame the new rules of the NFL. Now you’ll see less head injuries and more knee and leg injuries.

Agree but thought they re looked at it and changed something due to the complaining of first two weeks.
Hopefully his injury is only a bad sprain

Prior the the influx of new tackling rules, defenders went for the legs of larger players (typically RBs who were harder to tackle thus the higher injury rate). Now, defenders go for the legs of almost anyone. These types of injuries will be more prevalent. A player simply cannot defend his lower body from impact.

Can't hit high, can't hit low, just make it flag football already. Football is a COLLISION sport, not a "contact" sport.

Blame the new rules of the NFL. Now you’ll see less head injuries and more knee and leg injuries. Yep with guys aming lower. They said his hit was right square on the kids knee and it twisted. Everyone on the jags sidelines said it looked very bad. The rules stink.

Don't head coaches chime in during the off season in helping create new rules for the season? If so, the blame can also go directly for those that voted for this BS pansy ass helmet rule, not just the NFL. A NFL player would rather get hit high than low any day of the week. When we lose a important game this yr due to this BS rule, don't wanna here any of you supporters of this softer safer NFL crying about it. Once again in case any of you don't comprehend something about pro football, college ball, HS football & even pop warner, the game of football is a COLLISON sport not a "contact" sport. Don't wanna get hurt, don't play it & go play hopscotch across the street with the girls.

Lee was taken in the 2nd round same year we took Odell in round 1. 2014 NFL draft and I remember a lot of us want Lee if we did not get a WR in first round

He is right he doesn't blame Kamzi or whatever the defensive players name was that hot him. He blames the new rule as players scared to hit anywhere near head are now aming lower. It's going to get to a point where offensive plyers have a little patch sewed to them saying "hit here" or be penalized it's getting so ridiculous
