Most of us know, this above all sports is a game where it takes a team to win, where each offensive cog has to perform it's role for the final reward - scoring. But who do we mostly see at the end, rewatch with furvor, and celebrate - the receiver. And if one in particular is repeatedly getting that, it's going to go to most heads. And don't no one tell me some of the other teammates don't resent this - especially when a receiver gets ridiculous contracts for limited but very glamorous touches, and there's no money to retain them. It's really a nutty situation that they can fall into, I wouldn't want it.

With the enormous flood of really athletic recievers now coming out every year and then actually producing as rookies and becoming dynamic playmakers it's stupid to give these guys big deals... Keep drafting one every year depending on BPA and value (similar to how you keep building the O line and deptb)to have a very deep group and then let your free agents walk... Which is why I'm shocked Tyreek Hill was extended with Hardeman drafted last year.. |
