4-13 is actually more impressive than 13-4.
How'd they get that extra game?

They were 4-12 last year and now look at them this year. Kinda crazy when you think about it but I give them props. What's the Giants excuse for the last 5 years?I dont know...what was the Niners excuse for the last 5 years as well? People act as if the Niners did all this in 1 year of transactions. Niners were a 5-6 year process to get back to where they are.

Well, they took pass rushers instead of a RB or TE in the first rounds. They figured out how to build a legit OL that makes Mostert look like OJ Simpson. They traded for their QB instead of gambling on the draft.

They traded for their QB instead of gambling on the draft. The biggest difference? Raheem Mostert, a generational undrafted free agent running back! Why didn't we do that? Oh, wait..

a lot of people forget that team was monstrous the second half of the 2017 season, they were playing like beasts man. a ton of injuries in 2018 and just a bad year, but they showed massive potential in 2017

it hasn't just been several seasons of crap and all of a sudden they are in the SB.
Great coaching and Jimmy G getting hurt ALLOWED then to be in position to draft Bosa or else he would NOT be a Niner!!
Also Jimmy G has thrown ONLY 14 passes in the playoffs. Hmmmm..........great coaching and the great Jimmy G is a game manager I guess.

turning a team round in one year can happen but it takes a GM who is a good chess player and knows what pieces to move..

It takes time to build out a team correctly, the 49ers didn't just become good overnight and there was no one move that changed their fortunes, well except for the hiring of Lynch in 2017.

Pretty hard to win when shit like that happens. The fact they rebounded so quickly, speaks volumes.

Our record has been 3-13, 5-11 and lastly 4-12 So by your logic we’re going to the super bowl next year. Awesome.. Best news I’ve heard since McAdoo got his walking papers.

If the Giants have another good draft they could be competitive in their division in 2020.

Let the 49ers have their chance to be champions. We have “computer folks” who are on the pay roll now.

SF was as bad as NY was from 2015-2018, winning 5-2-6 & 4 games. They drafted DT Arik Armstead #1 with the 17th pick, he became a full time starter last yr & this yr had 10 sacks in the regular season & has 2 more in the playoffs SF had the #7 pick in 2016 & drafted DeForest Bruckner with the #7 pick. He had 12 sacks last yr & 7.5 this yr. Both him Arik Armstead are both 6'7 & 300lbs. 2017 draft, they get TE George Kittle in rd 5! 2018, draft Tackle Mike McGlinchy #1, 6'8 315lbs, LB Fred Warner with #3 pick 2019 draft DE Nick Bosa #1 with 2nd pick in the draft.
SF has drafted very well the past 4 yrs plus acquired their franchise QB & got Richard Sherman when many thought the guy was washed up. NY needs to draft DL/OL plus sign a good DL/OL FA this yr. Jimmy G threw only 8x & yet the team put up 37pts! Their OL imposed their will on the GB DL all game long & took their manhood! 08' was the last time the NY OL could do that!

Those idiots make Washington fans seem knowledgeable.

JG was 6 & 2 as a starter in SF before he went down. wasnt a stretch to think their record would improve a lot when he returned

I've never been sure why more people never noticed this. Seems like such a strange city to have such a douchy fanbase. I'm surprised they'r never mentioned amongst Eagles or Raiders fans. I don't have a problem with skins fans, though.
