I have to give Harooni credit. He was on the Josh Allen bandwagon from the start. Go figure, even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile. So was I.

When I saw him his rookie year is saw a raw quarterback. Now, it looks like developing into a solid player for the Bills. He has more rushing touchdowns than our all world running back Barkley..

He has more rushing touchdowns than our all world running back Barkley.. He's also now surrounded by talented players. Helps a lot with QB development. Mythology. Fake Media BS. Allen is barely surrounded by talent at all. The Bills have 2 talented players around Allen (Diggs, White), and 1 of them plays Defense. The Bills have: 1) A below average to Bad O-Line. 0 Pro Bowlers, maybe 1 above average player. #21 rated OL per PFF in 2019. Basically the same this year, Cody Ford is now horrible at LG after being horrible at RT in 2019. It is a below average NFL Offensive Line. 2) A bad Defense. Gave up 28 points to Dolphins, gave up 32 points to Rams (including 29 points allowed in 4 straight possessions in the 2nd half). The defensive stats were misleading last year because the Bills played conservative, ball-control, Field Position offense which catered to the Defense. 3) The worst TEs in the entire NFL. No Bills TE was drafted in Fantasy. No Bills TE is currently on ANY Fantasy rosters. If Fantasy teams were forced to start 2 TEs, you still would not start Dawson Knox or Tyler Kroft. That's how bad the Bills TE situation is; it's the worst in the league. The Bills have 3 "talented" players on their whole roster and 1 of them is Josh Allen. Josh Allen Stefon Diggs Tredavious White Josh Allen carries this entire football team on his shoulders, and has to on a weekly basis for them to win. That is the truth and that is the reality. If Josh Allen doesn't play a great game, the Bills lose (unless they're playing the hapless Jets of course). This team is driven by 1 player.

was the pick in 2018. This isn't hindsight. You can put to bed Daniel Jones being better than Allen. It's not even close, unfortunately for Giants fans. Jeez Morehead, give it a rest!!!

I think it is safe to say that Geoff was incorrect in his assessment.

I wish Twitter was around in 1998 for the Peyton Manning/ Ryan Leaf decision.
Instead we will just settle for this:
A Newsday poll of 20 NFL general managers favored Leaf over Manning: “The overwhelming consensus: Manning may have the more recognizable name, but Leaf clearly is the preferred quarterback among league executives. Fourteen of the 20 polled said they would draft Leaf over Manning, citing the Washington State quarterback’s stronger arm, better mobility, and more promising long-term prospect as a franchise-caliber player.”

Biggest draft miss in NYG franchise history. He's still absolutely not the "most exciting athlete in the world." Jeeze.. when you bump your own thread from October how lame are you? I'm on record for wanting the Giants to draft Josh Allen for QB. I'm just not a punk about it.

He looks great this year. Something changed. Coach? His accuracy is much much better this season. Word is that he spent the off season working on mechanics. They used a lot of motion analysis, to determine where he issues were, and designed drills to correct them. They were talking about it in one of the Bills games I watched, can't remember exactly which one. I think it was Jordan Palmer that he worked with. In his case, it seems to have worked.

I don’t see anything in that tweet about Allen at all. You don't understand "context" That's true; if context is defined as reading words and then making up an entirely different meaning for them.

I see. The context is that these tweets are from nearly a year ago and older.
He may have been right then, he ain't now.
