I do agree at 11 I feel there are players that would be more productive in thier rookie year than Paye. I also think this is the type of guy Reese would draft and DG would avoid but I can see Graham wanting this guy. That kid Rousseau from Miami seems like he would be more of a fit IMO for Graham. He is very raw, played safety in highschool and only really has 1 year of college ball but he can play anywhere on the DL in multiple fronts or stand up as an OLB if needed. Lots you could develop the kid to do. If we were going that route which I don't think we will. WAAAAAAAY too high risk unfortunately Problem is he was damned if you do damned if you don't Had he played he could have lit it up and he would be as coveted as Young was so we played our way out of him There really isn't a way for a pass rusher that raw to hone in his skills not playing.....

Paye also was a safety and linebacker in high school so he is new to dline but he has progressed each year in Michigan.

I agree he moved around the line on Michigan. His rise is going to similar to JPP where physical tools and natural athleticism trumps his production. His combine will put him in the upper tier of draftees this year. This pass rushing class isn't so great. His ceiling is quite high if the right DC gets his hands on him. This is why I'd rather wait till day 2 if we desire an edge rusher type Way too many?? And boom or bust types early to risk our pick when a guy of similar value can be had day 2.. Gettlemens philosophy is football player before athlete I think it is either gonna be a WR or a CB in that order. They saw what Love can bring as a #2 CB and Yiadom can work into the packages. My hope is what ever top tier WR is their at 11 they draft him.

Id hate it Paye is not an edge rusher,he is a 4/3 DE. Square peg round hole And getting him over DeVonta Smith... But this is would be the type of move granpa Gettleman would make and wait till day 3 to sift through the leftovers and take a big slow poke outside Paye is going to move up the boards. I don't think he is limited to an even front either. So you’re Surtain he merits a top 11 Paye check?
