Matt Stafford is one of the most underrated QB's in the NFL. Put him on the right team and he can win big.

Love Stafford. Lions are such a sh*thole organization who have wasted some of the most talented players and teams in recent memory. Definitely see the Colts going to the phones.
As for the draft, it gets interesting. Lions have to be all in on a QB now, so that takes them out of the equation for a WR.
Jaguars go QB. Jets COULD go QB or this pick is traded to someone who does go QB. Dolphins go Sewell? Atlanta would most likely go defense or surprise everyone and go QB. Bengals likely want to protect Burrow and invest in the OL. Do the Eagles go WR in the first in back to back drafts? Carolina may go WR but I feel they have other needs. Denver and Dallas took WRs in the first last year, same as Eagles I dont think they go WR back to back years.
There is a serious possibility the Giants are on the clock with all three top WR prospects still available. I'm not saying its a guarantee but I think its more realistic than we realize.

Im so happy Im not the one making that decision Lol Personally I want Waddle because I figure Chase and Smith would be gone by 11 but if all three are on the board I have to go with JaMarr Chase. He is to me WR1 in the draft. I love Smith but his frame honestly does scare me a bit. If its between Waddle and Smith, as much as I love Waddle I think you have to choose Smith in that situation.

Waddle looks so much like Tyreek Hill to me. DJ is pretty accurate with the deep ball, I’m sure having Waddle out there would help. I really hope he gets back to pre injury form

Ha! If all three somehow fell, that would be a great problem to have. I've just started my off-season research, but I think most of us agree our offense needs help on the outside. In my opinion, we need a "football player." Someone we can consistently depend on to make the tough catch and keep drives alive. Can Waddle be that player? From what I'm seeing, he seems more of a slot WR or a gadget player to move around the field pre-snap. Will he have the same burst when he comes back from his injury? For a player so reliant on speed, ankle and feet injuries are always a concern. Smith seems to be a true chess piece. He can play everywhere. My concern is the same as yours.....he's frail. Will he survive a single hit going across the middle in the NFL? Will he be able to get off the line against bigger CB's in the NFL? It may ultimately be a moot point, because the kid is special, but it's something to consider. Chase seems to fit the mold of an outside WR. He's strong, he's a solid route runner, and he catches everything. He's able to bully DB's and win 50/50 balls more often than not, and can take the top off a defense with his route running and speed. While he might not have the wheels of Smith or Waddle, he's not slow. Ultimately I'd be ecstatic with Smith, and I'd be able to talk myself into liking Waddle, but I believe Chase is the best fit for what we need at this point.

I agree that if all three are somehow still there when we pick, it will be a very difficult decision. I also put Waddle at #3 between them, but have a lot of trouble deciding between Chase and Smith. Both make the fan in me drool, and I think both will be very good pro's. I have less concern on Smiths frame.

The reason I like Waddle at 11 is because like I said, I figured Smith and Chase were goners. If Waddle has a good pro day and shows no limitations then taking him at 11 would be less riskier than it may have seemed say a month or two ago. I fully expect the Lions to go QB at 7 and in the event the Jets pull off a trade for Watson, that 2nd overall is also now a QB. Which leaves IMO only the Dolphins, Panthers and maybe the Eagles taking a WR in the top 10. Also need to remember there hasnt been a WR taken in the top 10 since 2017.

Yea, if Waddle shows out at his Pro Day that will go a long way in alleviating a lot of people's concerns. At this point, I can see 6 teams in the top-10 wanting to draft a QB..... Jax, NYJ, ATL, Det, Car, and Den. There aren't 6 QB's worth a top-10 pick, so I believe the number ends up being 4 ( bold) Of the remaining teams, the Falcons, Bengals, Broncos, and Cowboys either do not need a WR or they have bigger needs. We're now down to 2 teams & 3WR's..... The Eagles could definitely use a WR, but they're old on both lines and need help defensively. In my humble opinion, it'd be a bad long term move for them to draft a WR in Rd1, which would ultimately make me happy. If they did go WR, I think Smith is the only one they'd consider since he's the new shiny object. I don't know why, but I don't see them drafting Chase or Waddle. The Dolphins are the only team I believe should take a WR in the top-10. They have a solid defense, have a decent OL, a young stud of a RB, and they have a couple decent complementary WR's in place. If they had a legit WR, and maybe a better QB, they'd be set. So, based on the above, it's highly likely 1 of the 3 WR's will be available at #11. It's also not unlikely 2 of the 3 WR's will be available. Worst case, if all 3 WR's are somehow drafted before us, along with the presumed 3-4 QB's, then we'll have our pick of the litter at either OL, CB, LB, or TE. The more I'm writing this out and thinking about it, the Giants are in a very good position this draft.

I just posted a mock top 10 draft in the mock thread and wound up with this Jacksonville Jaguars - Trevor Lawrence. Houston Texans - Zach Wilson. Miami Dolphins - Devonta Smith. Atlanta Falcons - Micah Parsons. Cincinnati Bengals - Penei Sewell. Philadelphia Eagles - Caleb Farley. Detroit Lions - Justin Fields. Carolina Panthers - Trey Lance. Denver Broncos - Patrick Surtain. Dallas Cowboys - Kwity Paye I had Houston trading Watson to the Jets. Dolphins only one that takes a WR in top 10 and pair Smith with Tua again from Alabama. That would leave Waddle and Chase available for the Giants and in that scenario, Giants take Chase.

With the Stafford/Lions and Watson/Texans situations what they are right now, its very possible.

NFL channel Bucky Brooks just announced that Stafford is going to be traded before the SB. Terrell Davis thinks Indy is the team that would be the perfect fit. Stafford gets 28 mil per year. Indy has that from Rivers retirement.
This makes all the sense in the world and Indy is immediately a threat to K.C. for the AFC championship.

I would slow the roll on Stafford immediately turning teams into championship contenders. He has had decent OL’s and good weapons in Detroit and never was able to elevate the team. He’s now 33 with a pretty extensive injury history (although he plays through a lot of his injuries).... He might be able to take the right team to the promised land, but I don’t think that it’s anywhere near a sure thing
