Personally I think he's a SAM LB, not a true EDGE or MLB. Not a top tier position value wise and wouldn't be in consideration for me, personally. Yes your right as far as positional value goes. Here it comes...… However this Micah Parsons is suppose to be the next Devin White and Devin Busch at ILB. That would give us Parsons and Martinez at ILB. 2 tackling machines that can also blitz. Fackrell can play inside or outside if we re sign him. I think Fackrell would welcome say a 2 year contract in this defense.
I believe this particular players talent over rides the so called positional value.
Are you ready for this I apologize in advance but " This is the truth " in Parsons case imo.
I would take Parsons without a second of thought about his position. The kid is an absolute killer. You have a MLB combo of Martinez/Parsons playing behind out monster DL and it'll be insane. Then you rotate him down to OLB/Edge for sub packages. There is a very good article out there about how a players skills override his position. You hardly get the chance to sign a Quentin Nelson or Zach Martin in free agency so the only way to get them is in the draft. Parsons could be the same...and like you said he can rush the passer.

He doesn't make it to us for this reason He could actually be the best pass rusher if you included him with these "top edge rushers " that are going to go early (hopefully not to us )...

from what I'm reading about our cap for this coming year we might not have the resources to be making any kind of a splash in FA...

Honestly with the cap situation now a bit murky that probably knocks the team out of one of the top guys everone seems to want... If I had my choice where to buy a top free agent (some work to get under the cap is kinda easy with how much space we have starting in 2022 and cuts )Id rather get someone on defense along with keeping the d line together...make that unit a dominant top 10 or better unit(tvey are not that far off..especially if we see big year 2 jumps with McKinney,Coughlin,Brown and Crowder) If I were GM (if I were GM AJ Brown or McLaurin would be Giants so reciever would be an at leisure BPA pick this year ..I can't say Metcalf because I'm not going back on me not wanting him in 2019 and being wrong )...... A cheap vet WR like Watkins would be my guy if we needed a slightly bigger guy that can play the later stage Toomer role for us ....get one big defensive get. Then go offensive playmakers and O line depth heavy this draft BPA What about your guy Coxie ( Memphis ) idid not see him listed @ Senior. Bowl ( this Saturday ) ? Second or third round pick ?

Strange he wasn't... Seems to be sliding...he could be had in the 4th Wadele /Baby Gronk/BPA/Coxie would be an incredible haul

If we are set at WR there are a few ways I would be OK going
TE; Kyle Pitts
LB; Micah Parsons
CB; Patrick Surtain, Jaycee Horn
OT; Penei Sewell, Christian Darrisaw
