I think there are Brady haters and Brady lovers. I am somewhere in between. I think he's a guy that was put into a perfect situation when he came into the league, with the greatest coach ever. I think once again, he was in the perfect situation with TB. Does Tampa win the SB or even get there without Brady? Maybe, maybe not. We can speculate all we want, but we really don't know. That defense played lights out down the stretch and throughout the playoffs. Did Brady help put them over the top? Yes he did. Would Brady have had the same success on a lesser team? I say no, and I think if GB could have done anything on offense they would have won that game. Brady threw 3 picks in the game, and could have easily been the "GOAT", and not in the nice way. You have to respect his career and accomplishments, but I'm sorry I think they deserve an asterisk to some degree. Tuck rule... should have lost that game and never went to the SB. Seattle SB- give the ball to Marshawn, game over. Atlanta SB- great comeback, granted. But Atlanta blew that game as much as New England won it... I am not hating on the guy, not at all. Just pointing out facts. Throw in the 2 cheating scandals and does anyone wonder why some people do hate him? I don't. For a guy who isn’t a hater you sure sound like one.. Lol I'm really not, but yeah it does sort of sound like that. Look, he's a great player, no doubt. I'm just saying you have to look at everything, that's all.

Still feels amazing what Brady has achieved. The 6 sb wins in NE was amazing but to change teams at his are and win ok your first season will likely never be repeated. It takes so many things to go right to win one... and he has 7. It takes a lot to make it to sb... he has been there 10 times. Hard work and dedication. Brady has more Superbowl wins (7) than the teams with the most superbowl wins (Steelers & Patroits) (6)....

That’s just football. It takes a reasonable position straight into Rudy Giuliani territory. That can be said about the tuck rule game as well. It’s just a lot harder to keep a straight face for that one. So, throw that one out and the guy has what? Only 6 championships? I hear ya man. I really am not trying to knock him. I just think that sometimes certain players get put into situations that make it easier to succeed. Now he is a great player, no arguing that. I am just saying that his narrative could be a little different if a couple things went a different way..that's all.

I'm not exactly sure how you put an asterisk on Seattle not running the ball and Atlanta falling apart, as well as the Tuck Rule when the Patriots beat the Steelers the next round and then the Rams in the Super Bowl. Thats just kind of nitpicking.

Good to learn i missed Tony Romo's pant issue after an apparent trip to the boys room. Must have been been nervous at his first Super Bowl He was horrible last night. Every other word out of his mouth was Patrick Mahomes. They could be talking about the beautiful weather in Tampa and Romo would find a way to bring Mahomes up. It got so bad I thought once the Bucs put the game away that Romo was going to jump off a bridge.

And won a SB in his first year.

Tom Brady will never be matched in Super Bowl wins or appearances. He is the absolute best QB this game has ever seen. I really think that he could play until he is 50. Family, football, and winning are all that this man cares about.

Great athlete, unfortunately he had an arm of a teenage girl.

It's truly insane what Brady has accomplished. I was actively rooting for this guy last night. I just don't understand what any Giants fan would have against him? The Giants beat him 2x in the Super Bowl... This guy is on Babe Ruth / Michael Jordan's level.......

The only players Tampa even brought in were Tom, Gronk via trade and AB in October. Fournette was waived right before the season started and Tampa picked him up. Everyone else was either there already or drafted this past year. I hate these talking heads who's opinions have literally zero weight to them.

Superbowl wins and loses are a team thing.
Jim Kelly Dan Marino
2 of the greatest QBs to ever play the game.
Zero SB wins.
It's amazing Brady has 7, but he certainly has had a great fortune on a lot of it. Some of his teams were great teams. That said, he still needed to win them and he did.
But what if Vinatieri was Scott Norwood?
It takes others to be clutch around you too. And maybe Brady instills that on his teammates too which is an invaluable characteristic.

Seems like a great QB with a porous offensive line is not a recipe for success. Also despite the Eli MVP awards real Giants fans know defense won those Super Bowls against the Pats.

Former NFL ref Terry McAulay wrote on Twitter that two of the defensive holding calls on Kansas City probably shouldn't have been called because they didn't come "close to the standard" that officials had been using for defensive holding all season. The Chiefs were flagged eight times for 95 yards in the first half, which set the Super Bowl record for most penalty yards in a first half. ----- I will say this, the calls did feel lopsided. Not using it as an excuse however since KC got dominated, but it was pretty bad. The biggest one that stood out to me was the one where Brady was picked off and it was called a hold. It was simple hand checking that happens on every play. Bad call and changed some momentum. It was 7-3 at that point and the INT would have put KC in great field position. Instead Brady got the ball back and scored a TD 3 plays later. There was also a later play where the WR fell down and it was called a PI. Its probably good this wasn't a close game because it would have highlighted these bad calls more I've been critical of the refs for years. Just because there's no consistency. In the playoffs they let them play. But in the biggest game they throw multiple questionable flags? No conspiracy, the cheifs deserved to lose. But NFL penalties are just BS. And they change game outcomes all the time.

They held Brady to 14 points in 2007, just 14 points. In 2011 just 17 points. Only the Rams, in a losing effort, ever held Brady to fewer points in the big game. They needed Eli's clutch throws but defense won those games.

And who held the ball..especially the 2nd game when the Giants had tbe ball most of tbe game Stop with this revisionist history to support this bullst8t narrative Change it to well balanced team on both sides of the ball won the game and I can buy it I have never seen a fan base hate offense so much as to try to spin anything to discredit their own offense at all costs

We all saw last night’s game; everyone knows defense wins championships. I tend to think more highly of real Giants fans and believe that they don’t need the most basic of concepts explained to them.

I remember when Dan Marino made it early in his career. Some older fans I know told me that they were projecting him to go to a bunch more. He never went back again. Getting to the Super Bowl is one of the hardest team accomplishments in all of sports. I see Mahomes winning one or two more, but I doubt that anyone gets close to 7 wins let alone 10 appearances.

They needed Eli's clutch throws but defense won those games. Eli put the Giants on his back in 2011 and the Giants probably wouldn't have won that year with any other QB. 1) The Giants needed almost every one of Eli's 4,933 yards to make it to the playoffs that year. The running game was complete garbage until the playoffs. 2) Eli had 9 TDs and 1 interception during that run. He had to beat the Packers in Greenbay. Do you remember how horrible the officiating was during that game? It was the Giants vs. the Packers and the Refs. There was a clear fumble shown on TV by Greenbay and Rodgers got a phantom roughing the passer penalty. Both of these plays were discussed at length by the freaking announcers.. 3) After beating the Packers, Eli had one of the most gutsy performances I have every seen in San Francisco. I can't even recall a QB taking a beat down like that and still winning the game. 4) In the Superbowl, Eli had more yards than Brady, less interceptions, took more sacks and had a higher yards/completions. He was also rated higher than Brady and made one of the most brilliant passes I have ever seen to Manningham, who had 2 defenders right next to him. The Giants were pinned deep into their side of the field and without that insane throw, they probably wouldn't have won the game...
