Can these statements proven with corresponding data. I know they can't be. Even though I may agree with some of the statements . They are all opinions. Myths have some inclination to them that can be proven or disproven with evidence. Opinions are what they are.

I'll add another.
The game is about running the ball and stopping the run".

The ones about the running game are 100% correct.. The pass 100% sets up the run as well And I'll add You don't need a top 10 offense to win a Super Bowl 9 out of the last 10 Super Bowl winners all had top 10 offenses..

You kind of already said it but
“You have to establish the run before going to play action”

"The game has changed."
If you take the league as a whole in 1994 ( first year of the cap) and 2020.
With total Yards ( league wide). When the average of Passing and Rushing yards are calculated. Both years are are exactly the same. 67 % Passing, 33% Rushing .

Ok, I'll play. "Fans know more than Coach's, GM's and Owners". Did you believe this when Jerry Reese and Ben McAdoo were here?

Ben McAdoo was way ahead of his time, and he definitely knew more than all of us did. He was seeing the game on a futuristic level, was just a bit early. But he had the right idea, the right philosophy, and he envisioned the future of the NFL and where it was headed.

So staying in the 11 formation 90% of the time is progress? Nothing like fooling a defense by calling the same plays out of the same formations. I think Sean Payton's team is usually a good place to look for "futuristic" offenses. Their schemes always have a little of everything.
