I don’t wanna know anything about the referee and how he does his job. It is all part of the theatre of pro sports.
All this idiocy that started in the damn NFL about us knowing all these minute details of rules and challenges and who the officiating crews are...F all of it. Get rid of replay reviews, and all this shit and take me back to when the game was played and the refs and players policed things. The celebritizing of the referees and their crews is one of the lamest things ever.
Yeah I’m sure some shady stuff went on and we know there are bad calls but has any of this BS of the modern day actually helped to make the game more fair? Because one thing it definitely has done is make the games worse to watch and ruined many sports.
