Yea it's a done deal. goes into effect this season apparently. All over the NFL network. 17 regular season games. 3 pre season games.
No extra bye week. Season still starts the week after Labor Day, and ends 1 week later than before.
OK , we go to Miami for the 17th game. Now this is the 17th game not the game being played on the 18th week of the season. Don't know the schedule yet. their probably still working on that.

I don't know why, but I hate the 17th game for some reason. Football season always seemed perfect at 16 games to me.

So how do they decide which preseason game is dropped? This could affect season Tix holders (like me). What if you still have 2 home preseason and a home on week 17? Will ya get billed for anther game? ( know Giants are away week 17 to Dolphins).

Teams with the away game, or at a neutral intl site have 2 home games. This is probably overly simplified, but something along these lines.
