Good for him. He had a fine career, that he can look back with his head held high. Everyone remembers the injury that almost cost him his leg. I remember a quarterback that used every ounce of his ability, and had won more than he lost in 9 straight seasons.

Once he got past the roller coaster that the 49ers subjected him to his first few years, he played very solid football pretty consistently. Had a nice career, and can look back at it with pride, even without the comeback from that leg injury, only adds to his legacy.
