Again on the radio Arizona wants move up to grab Waddle. They're at #16. Possible Landing spots anywhere from #7 Detroit on down. A number of teams claiming they will listen to trades.
Arizona claims they're going to give Tyler Murray whatever he needs. Kingsbury hearing whispers if he doesn't make the playoffs. With Waddle on the other side of Deandre Hopkins as a #2 should be very rewardful for them. Like us with Goladay.
Heard the giants mentioned cause the lower teams in the draft are going to get more picks with the QB options of trades. But they were saying the Giants could get two 2nd rd picks plus a lower pick.
But when we go to #16 I'm thinking we lose any chance of Smith, Waddle, Slater, and possibly even Parsons.
What do ya think ?

Many peeps feel that there will 2nd and 3rd round WRs that will be great in the NFL.

If someone trades up for Waddle that means there's a better chance Smith and Slater fall in our laps. This would be good news in my opinion.

If they make #13 the Chargers one of them is gone I would think. The Eagles at #12 could go any direction my guess Horn CB. But if both Smith and Slater are there after the Cards pick Waddle at #11 I think your right one of them could fall to #16.

1.Waddle falling means Smith has a better shot at falling 2.a team looking to trade up with a team for a qb now is on our legit radar if we are left with none of the pass catchers or O linemen Ojulari and a 2nd works a lot better then staying at 11 for him,or even better my man Zevon Collins is now in play
Collins Best OG and dynamic guy in 2nd Round 3 is now a luxury pick of sorts and I go for one of the good NT prospects that should ne here ..

Keim has been on the news a few days ago, says looking to trade back if he can, and leaning towards a CB (PP is gone) or WR.

I could see this happening...
First 9 picks are all offense.
Dallas sitting there at 10 gets a call from Arizona who thinks the Giants will get that 3rd WR (Waddle/Smith).
Dallas trades back knowing they still want defense and that most the defensive guys are still falling. At 16 Surtain/Horne/Farley/Parsons all still there from 11-16.

I typically agree with you, but I disagree with going for an NT. Then again I was a big fan of Shelton coming out of college, unfortunately he never really put it together in the pro's but I have faith in him. Before we got Shelton, I was totally fine going with someone like Alim McNeil from NC State, Tederrell Slaton from Florida or Khryisis Tonga from BYU as our new NT. Then I was thinking we might shift Dex to NT, and wanted to pursue someone like Daviyon Nixon from Iowa or Jay Tufele from USC. Now I wouldnt think of taking a DT until the 4th round of later, if at all

The Cards may love Waddle and feel their just out of reach and the same for Smith for that matter. But I would think their looking for a CB after losing Peterson to FA. Unless their targeting CB in the 2nd rd. They call this "silly time" in the draft for a reason. Everyday there is another team claiming something. This years off season has been so entertaining it just hasn't stopped from the Day the season ended. The QB's being taded and talks of such big names being traded and then 5 QB's projected to be picked in the top 10 picks. It really has been something.

It'd be cool to have a Spartan AND a Wolfpack on the Giants, so for those reasons alone I'd be pretty excited to have him. However, I agree it's not a need after acquiring Shelton (was also a fan of his coming out of college).

Arizona , needs a CB to replace Peterson. They signed ( old ) AJ Green , JJ Watt , James Conner and have receiver KeShon Johnson.

I hear Murray was upset a WR wasn't chosen last year, CeeDee Lamb. He wants to act as GM now and have influence in the draft process.
I"m going to take a wild guess and say that the QB-GM wants another WR.

I"m going to take a wild guess and say that the QB-GM wants another WR. They could really use some help at both tackle positions, and their guards arent spectacular either. If im Murray, id want OT help over WR, just because they have Hopkins, Green, and Cristian Kirk. If I was the cards I wouldnt be upset if we take a WR over OL help.
