.....and so it begins.
Could this impact the GMen?
It might mean one less QB drafted in the top-10. It might mean the Broncos will be more willing to trade out now that they don't need QB.
If they stick at #9, what positions does Denver need?
I'm excited.

If the Eagles want to jump in front of us they just found their potential trade partner.

Teddy is not a long term answer there. Which I do believe in Theodore. But he keeps getting the shaft
Go JINTS. I hope this allows a small trade back and more draft capital

I just saw the parameters of the trade:
Denver will pay Bridgewater $3M in 2021 while the Pathers will pay $7M. The Broncos are giving the Pathers a 6th round pick. This is backup QB level compensation or a hedge against the QB they pick not being ready.

I have a hard time thinking they are giving up on Lock when he really didn't look that bad

I feel like Micah Parsons is their guy but feel like QB is still a strong possibility. Especially if they take one that is 2 years away like Lance. Bridgewater is what his name says, which is a bridge to their long term QB. Lock ain't it.

I have a hard time thinking they are giving up on Lock when he really didn't look that bad I didn't think so either until I looked at his numbers. 57% completion percentage with 16tds and 15 interceptions, under 3k yards. I know numbers aren't everything and what I saw didn't seem as bad as the numbers but damn, those are some solid stats.....in the early 80's.....

OK that is indeed terrible Especially with an OC (Shurmur)that preaches accuracy

That's after drafting Jerry Jeudy in the first. It doesn't help Sutton was injured but still.

It'd be a Christmas miracle if the Edge players were unexpectedly drafted in the top-10.

I can't say I have watched enough of the Broncos to have an opinion on Lock. I think Teddy was brought in to replace Lock. Teddy is a solid QB who can make they plays an NFL QB needs to make. He won't be the reason they lose games. They have some good playmakers.
I think this is a good move by Denver. I think Bridgewater is a good QB.

Here is my logic . There are rumors that Philly wants to jump the Giants to take Waddle . No way Dallas is going to give them even a lick of the number 10 pick. With what Denver did to solidify their QB position makes them a candidate to move down. Philly has 11 draft picks. 3 of them third round picks. They have the Draft capital to move.

Teddy is just a bridge till they find another QB next year i would think. imo it'an improvement from Locke. He won't turn the ball over as much that's for sure. As a Giant fan I can relate how frustrating it is having your QB cost you games with turnovers.
Denver has a real good defense and they do have weapons on offense. Denver could go anywhere from here. Trade back, defense, OL, This is a positive for them.

MAYBE QB, depending how they feel about Lock You know if Denver stays put at #9 and takes CB, Patrick Surtain, this would be a monster pick for them. They have 2 DE's in Von Miller and Chubb. They already were a top defense and in that division with Mahomes, Herbert, and Carr a top CB prospect looks pretty good to me.

Eagles up to Broncos makes sense. Well, not really because it'd be a dumb move for the Eagles, but that's good news for us. Let's say they do trade up for Waddle. For one, I don't think the Bengals and Dolphins both go for one of the Big4, so Smith could still be available. Even if they do, we'd have a plethora of top notch talent to choose from at #11. 1- Lawerence 2- Wilson 3- QB(?) 4- Pitts 5- Sewell (maybe Chase?) 6- Chase (maybe Smith?) 7- No clue...Parsons? 8- Slater 9- Waddle (Eagles) 10- Surtain/Horn 11- Smith/Parsons/Surtain/Horn/Paye/Collins/AVT/??? This move would be in line with many moves the Eagles have made recently. Let's hope it happens.

I will never figure out how you grade QBs if Bridgewater rates as a good QB to you but Eli was garbage. Either way, I disagree.....good is not how I would describe Bridgewater. Adequate would be a better descriptor.
