Giants: Love the trade back, hopeful about the Toney pick but concerned about the off-field issues. Glad the team recognized that this year has to be about giving Daniel Jones everything he needs to succeed.
Eagles: With a roster in shambles, they traded up to draft a WR in the first round for the second year in a row. The Matt Millen school of team building.
Cowboys: Obviously wanted a CB and lost out. Picked up a 3rd rounder from the Eagles to move back just 2 spots. Drafted Parsons at a position where they already have players. Giants have two coaches with intimate knowledge of Parsons the person, and decided to pass on him. What does that tell you?
WFT: Like their pick. Making their strong D stronger.

When the Cowboys did there trade it was a lesser of 2 evils thing the Giants are a real threat now Eagles not so much WFT got a real nice player with that LB. Love that the Giants were ready and had a plan and picked the guy a I thought they should they never draft my guy lol.

I'm still pissed that the Pokes made a trade with the Iggles, but it is what it is, not much we could do about it. I am pleased with how it worked out for us. WFT will have a scary D, how's their offense going to be though? They're going to have to hold teams to single digit scores.

What "off the field issues" does Toney have?
And dont forget, Philly traded back from 6 to 12 and got a 1st rounder next year for it too, and used one of the picks they got in that trade back to move back up and get the WR they wanted. They are still plus in picks.

Dallas might get 1 good year out of the trio of Vander Esch,Smith and Parsons.. Vander Esch is lucky to play half tbe season with his chronic neck/spinal issue...he could be out of football in 3 years Smith is already losing his explosiveness he had because of his knee starting to deteriorate..and he has a ton of guaranteed money so he can't be cut as his effectiveness starts to decline..
So basicly as a whole they might have one above average LB group year while they have nothing in tbe secondary and their D line is still bad And they still have Smith to defend either way
Philly Smith doesn't help their deteriorating Oine or defense
WTF On paper they got a dynamic young athlete mic They needed O line and how much longer can Fitzmagic have his above average bi polar type years before he fizzles ... They don't have a qb

Guns are allowed so I don't know if he got in trouble for carrying it or didn't have proper paper work to own it..

That's the result. Meanwhile, Dallas still needs that CB for that weakened secondary. Parsons adds a punch, but in this league, you can fly over him is my boas take.

We all know the eagles have junk at WR. Getting Smith (who they wanted all along) while picking up a 1st rounder next year and giving up a 3rd rounder this year is NOT Matt Millen school of team building. Of course the eagles are in need of a roster overhaul at many positions but getting Smith who was on par with the other two chosen before him and keeping him from the GMen is a shrewd move.

The Eagles hit a home run with drafting DeVonta Smith. Mater of fact, I like the aggressiveness they had with trading up. They needed a receiver, they knew we liked Smith. It’s a win, win for the Eagles. Draft a talented player and keep him away from a division rival. This is nothing compared to Matt Millen. Every Giants fan kicked their couch last night after the Eagles got Smith.
The Cowboys missed out on the cornerbacks they wanted. But, they drafted the best defensive player in the draft. Let’s be real with this, this kid has too 5 talent. But, maturity issues. Anyone trying to downplay the pick is just trying to justify our pick. The Cowboys got a hell of a player.
As for us. I was pissed we traded back when Parsons and Slater were sitting there in there outlandish suits. Beat players available, at positions of need. I think the Giants dropped the ball on that one. Time will tell.. The Toney pick surprised me, don’t know much about the player. So, not going to give an detail response about him. He looks fantastic on the clips they showed. Reminds me of Antonio Brown when runs after the catch. I don’t like hearing about his injury history, or that he’s learning the receiver position. However, he looks like a player who fits into the modern NFL. You can put him in the slot, the backfield, motion him, special teams.
Washington. I went to sleep, who cares about them.
Overall, we got more draft picks. And picked up another weapon on offense. A lot of the players we picked up have injury histories. So, as much as we addressed the positions. We also took a risk. Here’s to hoping the risk is worth the reward.

The players didn't fall ideally for the Cowboys so they foiled our ideal #1 and snatched an extra 3.
With so many holes and a question mark at QB who the hell knows what to make of the Eagles move.
Redskins continue to build on defense with needs on offense.
The suggestion that we got played is nonsense because the Giants obviously knew there was a chance all 3 WR's would be gone. I like this move because this kid fits Judge's plan of having "multiple" players on this roster. This is kid is more than just a receiver.
All in all, an excellent round 1 for Dave Gettleman.

OL and/or RB. 2 from N.C. (Williams looks real good to me), and a bulldog from Ohio St (I think his name is something like Sermon but thats not it) should be the next 3 RB's imo.

I thought the same about Parsons and Slater but we know the Giants did their work on them and for whatever reason didn't value them enough right there.
It would have been pretty ironic had we taken Parsons.
I was disappointed to lose out on Smith just when it seemed he was falling into our laps but the Eagles gave up the 3 for him and we know all to well that 1 great receiver doesn't equal wins. They still have a bunch of holes and a ? at QB.

The Eagles are doing exactly what we’re doing. Plugging one hole at a time. And you’re right, one player doesn’t equate to more wins. Neither does, more draft picks.

This was an in game clip where Toney went in motion and changed direction so quickly that the defender following him was on the other end of the line when the ball was snapped. Leaving him completely uncovered.

The Eagles have a decent amount of picks this draft but now only 1 of them will be in the top 100 and 4 will be from 224 to 240. But with a lot of holes and cap issues, these new guys could be a good fit for them.

I was very pissed to learn what both our piece of shit rivals had done. Mother****ers must pay dearly.

You think?
Of course Peter King told us Gettleman wanted Parsons and Judge wanted a WR so are you saying Dallas knew Judge had final say?
C'mon now admit it. That is very funny.
