This is one of the craziest things I've seen, Shannon Sharpe literally called Julio Jones on live TV and asked him if he's staying in Atlanta, to which he responds that "he's out of there" and then got him to diss Dallas in the process. He didn't even tell him that he was talking to him on live TV until the very end.

Oh wow, I didn't realize he wanted to leave Atlanta. Well then they need to trade him, him wanting to go changes my whole outlook of the Falcons trading him.
Now Atlanta takes whatever they can get it will still will be beneficial for Atlanta plus they get that cap space which is what I thought this was all about.
G.B. are you listening ? This could make Aaron Rogers smile. Julio would love to come to you guys a winner and as good a QB as is in the league.
Now you would have Devante Adams and Julio ? Put a candle in the window, and a sign " Come Home Aaron all is forgiven and were sorry".

This is why it's important for GMs to understand that they should only put their superstar players on the trade market, if they're willing to burn that bridge. Although, I will say that Julio Jones is a quite humble guy, I think he might've not known that he was on live TV and was just voicing his frustrations in what he believed was a private conversation. Green Bay would be an excellent place for him to go, but the question is does Aaron Rodgers want more money or another offensive weapon?

Sounded to me like he definitely knew he was on the air It's definitely possible, but during his time in Atlanta how many times have you heard him complain to the media or have an outburst on or off the field? I mean Jenny Taft literally had to tell Shannon to let him know that he was on live TV.

Ha.
Would you guys give up Toney for Julio straight up right now?
He may be on the wrong side of 30 but a few years of Julio with Golladay on the other side. Wow. Talk about giving DJ some serious ammunition in year 3. Barkley would love it too.

This seemed staged to me.
Would be a total dick move on Shannon's part to ambush a guy like that ... he's not dumb

I agree, but one thing this year taught us is what a soft cap it is. Hell we didn't have a dime to spare and we had one of the busiest FA seasons I can remember. He'll probably have to restructure no matter who he plays for.
