Since he made another NFK team he’s certainly an upgrade to at least out bench. Should take a look. I don’t know who he is, but I’d try him at RT over Flowers or RG over Omameh sight unseen.

Sight unseen?
The funny thing is, you might be right.
And there’s certainly nothing to lose.

Tobin would be an immediate upgrade at RG or RT based off of his time with the Eagles.

Thats one of the few teams where even their backups are an upgrade. Go get this guy, we lost 1 lineman already for the season. No reason to not snag him.

At this point they need to swallow their pride and realize they were wrong on moving flowers to the right ssid. He should of been released. They also need to realize they whiffed on Obremeh or whatever his name is So try some of the guys on the bench and bring Tobin in before it's to late and this is another lost season

Tobin was signed to a one year deal by the Patriots.

Tobin was signed to a one year deal by the Patriots. That was in March they cut him and then SF had signed him. He’s going through the waiver process.

If he is healthy and reasonable $$$. Why not, he may not want to be with a 0 - 2 team. We will see.

Great question...unless he has some strong belief he can be a starter here and that will lead to his next job, it's hard to picture.

One guy said that about Tobin. I wonder if there is one guy or more that would say that about Flowers or Omameh? Lol. The guy has started at multiple positions on the Oline. Not saying he is even avg, but he has to be a better option than we already have. The loss of our center puts our Oline depth in a disastrous position. Well we are already at that point for the starting right side. Lol. Why would he come here? ..........ummmm, I got nothing.

Tobin would be an immediate upgrade at RG or RT based off of his time with the Eagles. Ya think? "I don't want to cut anybody," said former Eagles linebacker Seth Joyner, "but the truth of the matter is that Matt Tobin has no business on anybody's roster."
I love when fans say things like "He HAS to be better than what we have"

I love when fans say things like "He HAS to be better than what we have" The fans blast the FO for the quality of the roster, and then propose solutions that would make things even worse

They have one of the deeper lines in Football? Because the Niners have sucked since Harbrough left. I wanted their OT that retired in his 2nd season for "personal reasons"

But neither do some of our linemen. 😏 What does adding accomplish? The defensive linemen might go after him instead of Flowers for a change....That will make Flowers PFF score go up and appease the arm chair GM's. hahaha. That's my thought
