This Sunday marks the anniversary of his ankle fracture.
I'm sure it'll be like my anniversaries and be a big nothing biscuit!

This Sunday marks the anniversary of his ankle fracture. I'm sure it'll be like my anniversaries and be a big nothing biscuit! I have no sense for this game at all. It feels like it could be a blowout for Dallas or a regular NFCE tight slugfest game. I have no idea what the Giants will be like.

I'm guessing a typical NFCE slugfest.

While I liked the win vs the Saints I was texting "0-4 here we come" when it was 21-10. I see Dallas maybe coming out slow to see what the NYGs will do. Then pouring it on. The Turds score just under 30 per game. The NYGs not so much. Unless the Giants D "clicks" like the O did last Sunday they will need +30 to win. Tall order for Jones and company.

Dallas' defense is bad. They are living on takeaways now but are giving up chunk plays on D.
I keep waiting on them to be Jerrah's Dallas Cowboys and self-destruct. That's in their DNA.
I'll stick with a tight game too.
I have a seed sprouting in my old foggy brain that's telling me this team is different in mental makeup and drive. I'm beginning to believe in this coaching staff which has lost me for 25 years. They've (the team) been entertaining and failed to be a shit-show yet. I'm almost afraid to breathe. There is potential for this team to be semi special (I'm not kidding myself about all this SB talk I'm hearing on the talking head TV shows). Waiting on DeMarcus Lawrence and Sir Neville Gallimore to come off of IR and maybe the chunk plays will become more rare.
On these chunk plays (20+yds) I think Dallas leads the league and they're not coming in garbage time. Most are in the 1st half of games.
Having said all that Kellen Moore is the shizzle as an OC !

I'm guessing a typical NFCE slugfest. I'm leaning towards your vintage Eli/Romo type nuclear war type game All offense,no defense Last team with the ball wins

Dak's passing at 75% efficiency is huge. Pass less with more results so to speak. Add in Zeke and Pollard its a tough offense to defend. They eat the clock and score often. If the NYGs cant get a couple of turnovers or several 3 and outs they wont win.

He has looked great so far this year Yes he has. Dak has come back better than anyone expected. Their whole offense has looked exceptional. It will take our best offensive game to beat them. Hold them under 30 ? 35 ? We need to score over 30 for the first time this season.

Dak looks super motivated this year, with the injury recovery and all. As long as he stays healthy, I think it will be infectious in the locker room, as much as I hate to say it!! Hopefully Jerr will prevail, lol.

If our defense has alligator arms once again we will lose by a couple of TDs. If I was the Boys OC I would run it early and often against our D.
We'll need some turnovers and for DJ to play another solid game.

Congrats on the good win. The offense was a handful and the D played pretty good. I was less than satisfied with the Giants team that showed up.

You understand the game. Dallas' D showed what I said above "Dallas' defense is bad." I read on here all week how bad the Giant OL was and yet Dallas got zero sacks. They consistently gave up big plays and drives to a 2nd string QB. This is consistent with what Darnold and Hurts did to them. This worries me and until Dallas has a D that can pressure the QB better they will not progress. Oh they can outscore all but 3 or 4 NFC teams but DL pressure will win once the playoffs come. Giants won 2 SB's with that. TB beat KC in the last SB like that. Glennon made good decisions and throws except the pick 6. Given that he was playing from behind on an injured team I was impressed ( but also as I said above, that Dallas D has big problems). My true evaluation of the Giants is they are two O lineman away, need another quality RB that is not such an injury liability, and an elite QB . . . plus your injured skill players back. Jones may be your QB of the future but I can't see it yet. Defense needs a couple of playmakers behind the line and a strong line. Probably the biggest upgrade would be new coordinators and subgroup coaches. Except the QB that is one good draft away. (I think, and don't take this wrong, Giants need to cut ties with Barkley). I defended Garrett here for years but his offense has no flow and many times is based around winning one on one matchups with not enough deception. Defensively it seems the scheme has changed because the defense was better last year (was there a change at DC? . . . I'm too lazy to look it up). Giants need to get back to a defensively stifling group and timely O. That was their character for decades. But to do this would take an innovative GM/player personnel dept.. Dallas offense is what we all said it was but I think the main 2 things are Dak and Kellen Moore's compatibility and Philbin's job with the OL. Of, course consistent skill players.
