82 points and 880 yards given up in the last 2 games. If we only had Dalvin Tomlinson... Yes it would have been 78 pts and 830 yds otherwise. if only last seasons backup QBs were the opposing QBs.

The defense that gave up on McAdoo. They are absolutely horrible. What is going on with Graham? Yeah, it's not great. But when the O scores 3 points and turns it over inside the 20 twice, it's not the D.

Our D gives up tds beyond 20 yards of the goal. We need a pass rush cause QBs sit there all day to throw. On offense I want to say it injuries but even when everyone was healthy we still struggled scoring in the Redzone. I am done with the Garret offense I see why Dallas moved on also 5 years ago. Night and day from Shurmurs offense. Shurmur may have been a bad HC and Bettcher a bad DC but we have regressed on O also while getting better players.

I think this is the worst team I've ever seen the Giants field. It's really sad. I agree, and I have been a Giants fan for 65 years. 65 YEARS!!!I've only been watching since Ray Perkins era myself. Newcomer, I know.

With no support from the offense, who literally turned it over in their own red zone, who in the world can you focus on the defense? They kept it close for most of the 1st half. At some point they will break down. Meanwhile the offense had a whopping 3 points up until garbage time.

First I thought it was rust from not much playing time all preseason, they didn't look ready to play a full game. Now i think we are lacking in cover lbs, and obviously a good passer rusher.

The Giants were a relatively good defensive team in the 70s.
Lately there’s a pattern with their D. It plays well the year they throw huge money at FAs. They are successful the first year and then the next year the bottom falls out. That happened the year they signed Jenkins and Vernon and Snax. And again this time when they signed Martinez, Bradberry, Ryan and retained Williams.

The defense was good enough in the 70s and made some plays but this current one is terrible add to that a bad offense and they will continue to be at the bottom of the league..

There are no "dogs" on this defense. No playmakers. No dominant pass rushers on the edge. LW can't do it all himself. He might be the only one playing worth a shit.
How many easy interceptions has the secondary dropped? Not just one guy either...just about everyone has dropped one.
Lorenzo Carter and Oshane Ximenes, our pass rushing hopes...no impact. We have Mr Irrelevant running the defense. No disrespect to him, but he's not good enough.
Some want to blame the coach, the guy everyone was calling a defensive mastermind last year. I'm not going to say he doesn't have a hand in it, but in my opinion we don't have the players.
Other than Martinez, that is all starters out there. And the defense wasn't good with him running it either. There is just not enough talent on that side of the field.

If you were around in the 70s, you've seen worse. Yup! The difference then is it was really expected in the 70's. This year at least for myself, I expected the D to be a strength coming into the season. Other than Martinez, they have been healthy. They added to the secondary, picked Ojulari in Round 2. They have been nothing short of pathetic. As for the offense? How many injuries to key players can they absorb? I think they passed the threshold the last two weeks. Soldier and Peart have to be the two worst tackles in the league, at least bottom 5. Insane the number of injuries the offense has suffered this year. You can only "next man up" so much. Getty absolutely has to go, his first statement when he was hired was he would fix the o-line with hog mollies. He has not come close to ever doing that.

To be honest we didn't get the chance to see our starting O line together for more than the first 15 plays, the fact that the line didn't completely give out and actually wasn't a reason for a bad look by the offense until Thomas went off is a minor miracle.

This D has a simple problem. No pass rush. So unless Graham is goi g to start generating some it will continue to be the same thing every week.

The defense does have playmakers. They showed their abilities last season. The scheme is noticeably different. The alignments, personnel usage, playcalls. But I must say, yesterday's turnovers doomed them
