I don't know if this was by him but it was connected somehow. Sukiaki a Western Django was one of my favorites. Django and Hateful eight was very good. Inglorious Bastards is another good one. Not a big fan of the kill Bill series it gets worse each time I see it. From Dusk till Dawn is a 1996 American action horror film directed by Robert Rodriguez and written by Quentin Tarantino.[4] Starring Harvey Keitel, George Clooney, Tarantino, and Juliette Lewis, the plot follows a pair of American criminal brothers (Clooney and Tarantino) who take a family as hostages (Keitel, Liu and Lewis) in order to cross into Mexico, but ultimately find themselves trapped in a saloon frequented by vampires. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/From_Dusk_till_DawnDidn't Cheech Marin play multiple parts?

well its a big picture thing, while of course we want to see them win, most realize the panthers probably had one of the worst games in that franchises history, they were terrible moreso than we were good. the giants did some good things, but we sneakily did enough bad things to where if we continue to play like that, the score will be reversed against better teams.
dont get me wrong, im very glad we won, we needed that, but i cant help continuing to look ahead.

We don't get wins that much if people don't enjoy it or are finding whats wrong instead of what went right, that sucks for them. Not really, it sucks more for the eternal optimists who are constantly let down with false hopes. We looked decent at best against a team, end of story. Great. You know what gets me excited? Winning 3-4 out of every 5 games, including against good teams. That proves something, not an occasional win here and there which does just enough to keep the homers excited that we’ve finally turned the corner. That’s gotta be a huge disappointment after getting the same results for 10 years and the only thing that changes are the excuses. I cant even imagine living day to day in such a delusional fantasy world. It’s like watching a person take a few agonal breaths and the poor family thinks they still have a good chance at living when anyone qualified who sees it knows that there’s a better than 90% it’s game over. That’s what the Giants do, take a few agonal breaths and some fans get their hopes up, only to be let down and crushed again and again. Until I see some consistency against good competetion, this team still sucks. Sorry for the bad news. It's almost as if other people's optimism brings you and your family physical pain. There is so much disdain for people who don't absolutely hate the Giants the way you do. I get being angry and lashing out at the team for the way things are, but why do you hate on other fans so much? Why does it bother you the way it does? You spend most of your time here attacking anyone who dares have anything positive to say.

I guess we should all be upset constantly until we win a superbowl, and even then we probably didn't win big enough.

I have the same view of the Tarantino films. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood was great. It helped to change the perception of Sharon Tate away from being just someone who died a horrible death. I love the way he humanized her. I'm sure her family felt the same way. also it was a what if take on Sharon Tate like may be in this universe what if Sharon Tate wasn't killed! The scene in Leo DiCaprios house with the Manson clan and the Pit Bull and Brad pitt and Leo DiCaprio in the pool listening to Snoopy The Red Barron and The Flamethrower it was hilarious I was cracking up laughing at this scene! I was in a theater and the entire place was cheering during the entire scene.

More questions tat get answered the next 10 games the better.

It is a win, the season has shifted to get healthy see what we got it looked Ok early then the second wave of injuries came and they needed to over come it and struggled at first. There is a lot of talent out on offense it would be nice to see what we have to get ready for the draft, Giants won't and shouldn't be big players in freeagncy , once they clear Marinez/ bradberry and Ryan after next year they can fill some needs but freeagancy hopefully is over with after this next draft except to fill a few needs second wave type signings. No matter who is calling the shots the Giants need to stick to building through the draft it takes longer and is harder GMs miss more then they hit but it keeps the cap healthy even when you have a franchise QB on the books.

Kill Bill is definitely something you either love or hate. I love the old school Kung Fu movies that are dubbed and tacky so its perfect for me. The plot is sweet too. You can also connect the Kill Bill plot to Pulp Fiction when Umma Thurman's character is talking about a comic book series and matching each character to all the Kill Bill characters. Tarintino loves to intertwin his movies. The car that was in Pulp Fiction is the same main car in Reservoir Dogs. Forgot about Inglorious Bastards. Great movie there too.

Why wouldn’t they? In case you haven’t noticed, this team has had the worst combined record in the league over the past 3 years until last week which put us one game over the Jets. We beat 6 teams last year, the majority of which were against back up QB’s and the one it wasn’t, we beat Seattle with our back up QB. 10 years and making one playoff game doesn’t instill a lot of confidence in most fans. We just beat a team that has 3 wins against teams who have 3 of the 4 worst offenses in the league and has a bottom 10 offense with a defense that was much worse than the stats suggest due to padding their stats against those 3 teams. We also beat the Aints who have the 4th worst offense in the league. I really don’t care about the injury excuses, every team has injuries and even when we had a good portion of our starters we still lost 3 games, one against one of the worst defensIve teams in the league, Washington. Watching the Giants beat some of the worst teams in the league doesn’t me all hot and bothered like some of you. Every year they beat bad teams and occasionally beat on or two good to decent teams. And every off season we hear more excuses and how close we are to being a playoff contender. I was hoping this year would be different than the past decade but it’s the same story, different excuses. Just like I woudn’t get excited over beating a one legged man in an ass kicking contest, I don’t get excited against beating a really bad team or beating a good to decent team every now and then. Been watching that for 10 years and where has it got us? Nowhere. It just gives Mara and homers more false confidence about the following season, only to rinse and repeat. Sorry for keeping it real. Sorry but a win is better than a loss and if that reality doesn't work for you then that's on you but to claim other fans can't be excited is wrong. That's more like the opposite of "keeping it real".. GO GIANTS win big or just barely it's better than losing.. I apologize, can you quote me where I said “other fans can’t be excited” or are you just making shit up?

Glad it makes some of you happy, If just so sick of seeing this team win a few crappy games a year, sprinkled in with a decent win or two, and end up in the losing column once again just to hear the same BS from the FO how next year will be different. You guys can suck it up all you want but people shouldn’t get mad at me for not being as excited over a win like that or the future of this team as it currently stands. Just like you guys give your opinion, I give mine. We obviously disagree and it’s hard for me to understand the optimism over a win like but I don’t have any hard feelings towards mist people here until they put words in my mouth or make personal attacks (which you’ve never done).

Literally And the Yin to that Yang are all the posters here claiming you're not a real Giants fan, "go root for the Cowturds," etc if you're not positive about everything... and god forbid you call anything out when they've been the worst team in the NFL for 5 years now. I disagree that happens. There isn't one poster who isn't down on the Giants right now. We are all bitching about the state of this team. I don't see anyone telling negative people to go root for another team.

And some of the Optimistic Crusaders may have changed their tune in the past few weeks but there are some that still exist and lord knows that leading into the season this forum was ripe with them. Everybody is positive before tje losing starts. Again, I still don't see anyone telling negative posters to go root for other teams. My post was specifically at one poster who spends most of his time attacking people for being optimistic. I didnt paint all negative posters with a broad brush the way you have just done.

I was optimistic but not a crusader. I have had flase hope many times before but I really though this season would be different. Now at 2-5 with major injuries seemingly every ****ing week its just another crap season overall. IMO, the injuries derailed whatever hope they had.

When they start putting wins together and becoming actually relevant you may see a slow change.
But we've been beaten up for too long to let a win vs. Carolina to change anything.
The reason so many fans are so pessimistic is that our team has beaten us over the head for 10 years.

This one win on its own is a WAY better than a loss.
Is it just one win or is the start of several wins?
No one knows. For me, although I think this team is a ****ing mess, that maybe we see Jones continue to carry this team with more wins. If he can carry the team and we see he can be "THE GUY" going forward then this season will have been a success

Cant argue with that. Jackie Brown is great. Tarantino doesn't miss much. Also he had production / director/ acting moments in several other great movies. Richard Rodriguez' El Mariachi/ Desperado/ Once Upon A Time In Mexico trilogy, From Dusk Till Dawn, Four Rooms, True Romance, Hostel, Killing Zoe...
