I was optimistic but not a crusader. I have had flase hope many times before but I really though this season would be different. Now at 2-5 with major injuries seemingly every ****ing week its just another crap season overall. IMO, the injuries derailed whatever hope they had. You're realistic. And not afraid to be objective and analyze the current state of the team week to week. Both this forum, and really all of them, are filled with fans on both extremes. The ones who are perpetually and unrealistically negative about the team and those who are the same but in a positive manner. The latter however are the most adamant about telling the others that they aren't real Giants fans, etc. Both of those types of fans are unrealistic. much like politics its the extremists that are the real problem. They create and fuel the ultimate negative fire.

Kill Bill is definitely something you either love or hate. I love the old school Kung Fu movies that are dubbed and tacky so its perfect for me. The plot is sweet too. You can also connect the Kill Bill plot to Pulp Fiction when Umma Thurman's character is talking about a comic book series and matching each character to all the Kill Bill characters. Tarintino loves to intertwin his movies. The car that was in Pulp Fiction is the same main car in Reservoir Dogs. Forgot about Inglorious Bastards. Great movie there too. 1. Pulp Fiction 2. KillBill (both) 3. Inglorious Basterds 4. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood 5. Django Unchained 6. Jackie Brown ......(great movie) 7. Reservoir Dogs 8. The Hateful Eight 9. Death Proof
That's my list from best to worst.

I agree. I don't honestly see more than 4-6 wins without lying to myself. I just don't understand the hatred for people who are more optimistic. So wait. Vinnie and Moorehead essentially say the same thing. Yet you call Vinnie miserable and say he and his family must feel physical pain when the Giants win... ...but then agree with what Moorehead says? Well, if you bothered to correctly quote me, then any confusion on your part should be relieved. I said Vinnie experiences physical psin whenever someone says something optimistic. I am as negative about this team as anyone else. I gave them the benefit of the doubt before the season started. Now, I habe no faith in Joe Judge. Nothing that he claims to be teaching shows up on the field....ie, mistakes, stupid penalties, poor tackling etc etc

Take it for what it is a win found a little about some players what they have and move on and hope they build off of it. not bad news it is what it is enjoy the win but understand it is 1 win. hope when they get healthy that they win some games and see what this team was supposed to be. More questions tat get answered the next 10 games the better. For the record, I did say there were a few positives to take out of the game but overall an occasional win against a bad team doesn’t do much for me, that’s all. Glad it makes some of you happy, If just so sick of seeing this team win a few crappy games a year, sprinkled in with a decent win or two, and end up in the losing column once again just to hear the same BS from the FO how next year will be different. You guys can suck it up all you want but people shouldn’t get mad at me for not being as excited over a win like that or the future of this team as it currently stands. Just like you guys give your opinion, I give mine. We obviously disagree and it’s hard for me to understand the optimism over a win like but I don’t have any hard feelings towards mist people here until they put words in my mouth or make personal attacks (which you’ve never done). I'm not one of those guys I understand whee the team is and it will be there till proven other wise, I see tis as a game that they 3 point dogs at home and they ended the game winning with a 22 point differential not a bad day for Giants fans. This season is all about how they respond and what they are once healthy hopefully they get an 8 to 9 game sample.

Another amazing observation that a single win can toss aside the venom and turn a football thread into a movie thread!!!!!

Vinnie absolutely HATES anyone with a positive spin about anything Giants. All you have to do is read his posts and you will see that. There is a theme. Pretty sure he never makes it personal about the poster. It seems like you take someone else's opinion about the Giants (if negative) way too personally. Nope. Not even close. Vinnie ALWAYS attacks people for beimg optimistic. Literally always. There are plenty of negative posters who don't make it personal the way Vinnie does. Do you see my going after them? No...you don't. It's specifically Vinnie that I addressing.

Lol.. I guess your negative rant didn't say it exactly so then I must have made it up.. My mistake for reading your response!! Please continue to be miserable about the Giants winning a game by "keeping it real".. I don't blame any fan for being unimpressed with a win against a team playing poorly. We've seen this before. The team has been spiraling for 5 years now. When they start putting wins together and becoming actually relevant you may see a slow change.
But we've been beaten up for too long to let a win vs. Carolina to change anything.
The reason so many fans are so pessimistic is that our team has beaten us over the head for 10 years.
I with you I want to see good victories over some of the better teams and I've stated this before out here and I'll continue to claim the same as you.. I just commented to Vinnie about his negative rant that this win doesn't matter because he was keeping it real. That's his opinion and I feel it's wrong if it's also yours now then I will still claim a win is better than a loss..

Sigh....because he attacks people who have anything positive to say. Maybe you don't agree that saying people with a positive outlook live in a delusional fantasy world isn't a personal attack. I do. And he does it all the time

Nope. Not even close. Vinnie ALWAYS attacks people for beimg optimistic. Literally always. Out of curiosity, can you show me a post where he is attacking someone for being optimistic? So you don't like it when Vinnie "attacks" someone for having an opposing opinion but admit that you are attacking Vinnie for having an opposing opinion. Got it. Is English your first language? I am going after Vinnie for attacking people who don't agree with him. Not because of his opinion of the Giants. He and I are a lot closer to agreeing on the state of the Giants than we are apart

And he does it all the time If he said, "I disagree, I think you're opinion is unrealistic" would that make you feel as if he's not personally attacking someone? If so, then you're dissecting semantics. But again, you admit that you're attacking him for saying something negative. What's the difference? Nope. I am attacking hom for attacking others. Not sure why it's so hard to undsrstand.

Reservoir Dogs is my favorite of all his movies Close second for me to True Romance That's my favorite. He wrote it but didn't direct it. So many great actors in it. Favorite scene is with Dennis Hopper and Chris Walken. "So tell me, am I lying?"

I was at the Carolina game with my poor nephew who is from NC (transplant to Brooklyn, he was not happy). Really good seats. Danny was amazing! I loved the win! Especially when I am at a game. Nothing like it! Going to the da Raiders game too. I bleed blue! Go Giants!

Honestly one of the greatest scenes ever in any movie IMHO. I'm Sicilian, so I found it especially amusing...and true for the record.

Why not enjoy it for a few days knowing an inevitable reality check is about to hit you in the face like a pyroclastic flow from Vesuvius did to the residents in Pompeii that day in August 79 AD...

left out From Dusk Till Dawn I remember thr first time I watched From Dusk till Dawn, I had no idea what it was about. I just happened to turn it on and started watching it. When the scene with Salma Hayek dancing started and everyone started turning into vampires I was completely shocked. It came out of nowhere, which was so great about it.

All just great movies, so hard to rank them. I thought the role Leo D played in Django might have been his best work..maybe ever. Loved Hateful 8, Walton Goggins is one of my favorites. Was a huge Justified fan.
