The comparisons to Taylor were fine in Watt's first 5 years. He had 20 sack seasons twice, 2 DPOY awards, and an annual all pro. After that, the injuries just caught up to him.

I don't see the big deal. My opinion about comparing Watt to Taylor in his first 5 years isn't going to change. Watt was a beast and virtually unblockable. As time goes by, other players tend to get compared to greats from the past. No one is saying that Watt is as good as Taylor, but Watt more than made his impact. On another note, do you remember when Michael Strahan said that Aaron Donald was the best defender he has ever seen play? People on here didn't complain about that opinion at all until it came out of Troy Aikman's mouth.
