In the last 3-4 games LW has shown over .enthusiasm and aggressiveness. His numbers are starting to reflect his play. He has 4.5 sacks. The last 2 games he caused a fumble, has had 2.5 sacks, and a battered pass. He has really stepped up.
LW and Ojulari look like they are finally getting their footing. There was even a couple Trevor Lawrence sightings vs Carolina. Couldn't happen at a better time. KC has OL issues and were going to need pressure to even have a chance vs KC and Mahomes.
Last week only 1 game vs Darnold we did look like the type defense I was hoping for. I did enjoy it so much. And with KC in much more disarray, more than anyone expected I am just hoping we can contain that offense and score on that defense.
1 win and I have a new hopeful outlook. Hope I'm still on cloud 9 after Monday night. But until then were tied for our longest winning streak of the year.

What’s Leonard Williams topic doing in Giants history? Did I miss something? Is he ancient history? Put this thread where it belongs. In guidelines..

Dexter Lawrences last 2 or 3 games have been really good also, he is pushing the pocket getting held constantly and is finally getting the calls these 3 can change a game. The thing the Giants need is the guy who can pitch in when teams do get them blocked up.

Kinda seems weird to be the 9th worst in the league against the rush for all this “stepping up” our D line has been doing.

D-line is gelling and pass rush is better...not great, but better.

Better tackling also helps a lot. Just watch last nights game.. The amount of yards after contact was more than 50% of the total..

was never worried about Williams, he is a excellent player but he needs some HELP too
Dexter Lawrence was disruptive vs the Panthers, we need more of that up front

His numbers are actually ahead of last year's pace. Need Dex to keep it up. If we had better edge players, LW's effectiveness would multiply.

He should be a disruption It is but a few other people brought up the other D linemen so I figured it kind of morphed into a D line thread. 100% agree, Williams needs to play like this for his entire contract to be worth the money he was paid, not just a few games here and there. Hopefully he can keep it up.

The only reason people work is for money. If I did need to feed my family there would be 100 other things that I would put my effort to. A job is a job. Don t get fooled by the pr talk to build a brand. It an entertainment business built for profits. It always about the Benjamins.

Yeah, I’ve never understood that but we see it with NFL players quite a bit.

There are millions of people that love their jobs and look forward to it every day. Do you think Tom Brady is playing for money? What about Favre? I could name plenty of others but hopefully you get the point.

Same situation - there might be elements of my job that are annoying that I’d happily pay others to do if it was feasible, but overall I’m very lucky to get paid to do something I’d be flattered to do for free.

I recently took a "dream job" after 23 years at my previous company. I work in my professional specialty in a young vibrant company in one of the fastest growing industries on the planet, one that I happen to be intimately close to (I won't keep you guessing, got a job with one of the large cannabis companies over the summer!!), but I still wouldn't work for free, lol. And no, I don't get free product samples, sadly, I work remotely and don't even have access to company product...
