Here we are back to square one again! Next year we will have a new GM and Coach. Sound familiar! Mara has now made this a Giant's tradition. As fans, we have, in some ways, become accustom to this. We have become brain dead NY Giants followers to nowhere! To loyal to quit them and to stubborn to give up! We march along, year after year, the laughing stock of the NFL as other teams rebuild right there in plain sight! The Eagles, Cowboys, Patriots and Washington all headed in the right direction as we head in the wrong direction! Just look at the QB play of the Eagles Hurts and then watch the incompetent Danny Jones. Night and day! Sad to watch! So we again look to the draft and pray the next GM can actuarily find some talent! Wouldn't that be a change! Even the Knicks have turned it around! So here's to the next GM search, may we found someone that can do the job!

Doubt we’ll have a new coach. Gettleman should be gone (should have never been hired in the first place) but I think Mara will keep Judge for another year or two. Judge and Jones will probably go together if they don’t improve much next year but the bar is so low, that a .500 season is considered a success for this joke of a franchise.

He should already know what needs to be done and that what has been done in the past 2 GMs now hasn't worked time to get a new voice to help find our new leadership. As I watched Monday night football this Louis Riidick is basically asking fro an interview on a weekly basis, He was mentored by EA these are things Mara needs to avoid nothing from our past or present can be part of this. |

Not ready to crown Hurts or the Eagles.
Hurts went 13/24 and didn't even throw for 150 yards last game. He's only thrown over 200 yards once in the past 7 games.
He's an improved version of Tim Tebow..one leg injury away from being RGIII.
...but yea the next GM has to do better...Gettleman era has been a disaster. Mara and Gettleman acted like they wanted to do the opposite of McAdoo...like Mara got intimidated by the fan mail or something.

If we insist on another guy who's happy to let the owner pick the HC, the talent pool with shrink up for GM.
The owner has been picking the HC for a long time now. If that doesn't change, we will continue to be a laughing stock.

No GM worth his weight in salt would want to be saddled with baggage. I can see it now.. Welcome to the NY Giants, before you get comfortable in your new job. There are a few stipulations you must abide too. The quarterback stays.. yeah he’s a walking migraine, and his play leaves you speechless. However, he’s Teflon here. Next, the head coach. He too isn’t going anywhere. He was recommended by Bill Belichick, which means we must ride it through to the end. It’s the “Giants way.” And last and most certainly not least. Any big decision, must come to me first. I like to think I know a thing or two about football. I’ll decide if that player is Giants material or not. Other than that, welcome aboard. Remember, to sign the contract in blood. We all but ran out of pens here..

I think they should clean house, get a new GM from the outside and let him build his own roster and personnel from QB to HC’s to the scouting department but we all know that will never happen. Mara will hire a new GM (hopefully not Abrams but wouldn’t surprise me) and mandate that the new GM keep Judge for at least another year or two. It’s absolutely ridicurous and will limit the pool of potential GM candidates (if there are any not named Abrams) and we’ll go through the same bullshit we have for the past decade. |

Not done in the sense of being a fan but just done with thinking they will be good again soon. I have accepted the fact to being a fan of a loser franchise.
5 years minimum before this team is competitive again. That could easily turn to 10 years or maybe longer.

I am a fan for many years going back to the middle 60's and like you I am done. I will watch them here and there but no emotional tie at all. This franchise is a bunch of losers and until they make serious changes from the top I don't take them serious at all. John Mara is well aware of his failing process and doesn't want to be accountable. I am assuming once he starts losing significant money then he will get serious but what does that mean? I have no faith he will look at himself and take control away from himself. You said 10 years + and that is not out of line at all because the Giants have a very serious problem on there hands. |

I'll wear NY Giants gear once they can at least have a 500 record. Split personalities?? What happened to making that playoff run this season? They certainly can't do that with out you wearing their stuff!!

I still wear my gear, and I haven't added a paper bag hat just yet... I wear stuff on game day and sometimes to workout.. I'm not buying anything new and have instructed my family to follow that plan for me..
