Love playing 78 snaps filling in for Logan Ryan they didn't miss a beat, having good game on teams and in the defense. A Robinson drafted as a slot was asked tp play 45 plays outside wasn't perfect but he held up and had some nice hard tackles, Steven Parker a practice squad call up gave them 11 important snaps down the stretched defended a pass when they tried him.

I gotta admit that I’m watching this team and seeing a load of players I don’t even know. But they played well for us.
The TE who caught the TD pass is an example.
I also thought Crowder played well yesterday.

I'll throw McKinney into the mix I think he is shaping up to be the player they thought he could be in round 2 I like his instinct and his range

But please, if the value is there, they need to draft 3 Olinemen in the first 5 picks. I know that sounds crazy but they could be a very good team with some solid Oline play.

Still think they need one more option at ILB that is a sideline to sideline hunter.

I could go down the entire defense and shake everyone of their hands. It seemed everyone contributed, the defense played great.
But McKinney and Love played great all day long. They were fantastic, they were all over the field. If these 2 could become a consistent tandem for us at a level like this imagine the defense we could put on the field.

I also thought Crowder played well yesterday. Crowder has caught my eye for about a month as he has been steadily improving Seems he is now comfortable in his role as defensive coordinator and now relying on instincts which allows him to diagnose and get to the ball quicker and allows him to concentrate on tackling correctly.. While probably not ever going to be the next Harry Carson I think we have a very solid starter going foward that will be part of a good unit.. Still want a modern new age type guy (the smaller types that are now the prototypes...)let's hope we lose the Giants way rules of measurables for that player group as I see a guy named Loyd from Utah that would he sick with this unit

Love needs to be kept here, he is a younger version of Ryan smart enough to handle multiple roles and Athletic enough to be good at all of them.

I was watching Delpit with the Browns last night he isn't even close to McKinney. McKinney is just starting to blossom into a star.

I think he's got 5 ints. and wasn't even a full time player early on.

Absolutely. This kid has been very impressive the last few games.
But before I begin thinking of him as a potential Giants Ring of Honor candidate, I have to remind myself of our history with safeties. Their success with us always seems short-lived - obvious it's for various reasons which has nothing to do with Xman, but it's like I'm just expecting a shoe to drop.

Stevie Brown had 8 interceptions and million yards in one season. Like a fart in the wind, we never heard of him again. McKinney has the tools to be a very good safety, it’s up to him to continue this good start.

I know that sounds crazy but they could be a very good team with some solid Oline play. It’s not crazy at all. We’re good for a minimum 3 key o line injuries per year, including back ups. We have one o line keeper that’s playing right now. One. All the rest are literally practice squad equivalent players.

great point Shaun Williams Gibril Wilson Kenny Phillips Landon Collins all come to mind I felt like Phillips was on the right path until he got hurt. Once he got hurt, it was a wrap. If I had to bet that McKinney would ultimately be better than that lot, I'm taking that bet. I'm all in on him.

He really seems to have the range and instincts as FaceAcrossTheFloor mentioned, that set him apart from some others.
Either that or we could chalk it up to very poor play by our opponent's QB's.

Completely took DeVante Smith out of the game. Made him as effective as Toney was for us yesterday.
